| Comments: I live at 118 Blair Stonegate 2, and I visited your site for info on carbonmonoxide detectors to see if we needed them but dont because of our fuel.
I live in 304 facing the front and always have my windows open and sometimes I have had to ask delivery people to shut of their ignition (especially diesel) we can smell it. Perhaps this is where a carbon M would be good. Maurice A. Dufresne 304 |

| Comments: Just stopped in to say hi..And to give you an update on Bruce Wayne Godwin who worked for N.D.F.D in the late 70's and early 80's
I am his daughter Cynthia. When i was a young girl age 6..I was had an accident, A stick had went into my throat...I remember all my Dad's friends from his work sending fruit baskits and wishing me well. If any of you worked with my dad ,You might remember he was working when a call came in to go to a scene,Only to find out it was me.... They tell me i was jumping around trying to pull the stick out.And the Doctors could not calm me down.So my Father and his work buddies came in and i was a calm as a little bird. Anyone who does remember Bruce Wayne Godwin..I would love to hear from you..... My father has since passed on October 5th 2007 at the young age of 57,, Prior to that he was a Paramedic in Toronto.However was injured on the job,And did not work for almost 9 yrs. He passed away very suddenly and unexpectly.... I have many pictures of me at the Christmas Party's held be the Fire Dept...Anyone are more then welcome to them if you would like. Agian.... Because of my fathers passing,I am looking for anyone who worked or knew my father....My Parents divorced when i was 9 yrs old. So i am looking for some memories that anyone may have that they would care to share with me. How can the deprived woman of my province obtain one of YOUR calendars. Our firefighters, are super nice, cute, but a little too shy me think. Considering Mr. B, my grade 10 English teacher said I spent more time starring at Murray, than working in class, I figured that Murray, you must be in this calendar. If you ever get this message, I hope life is treating you well. I'm doing great. I finally found the fire tower used in the winter of 1965 on the old tv show "The Forest Rangers." It was called Widdifield Tower near the North Bay Airport. This tower still stands with the cupola removed and is used as a communication tower by the North Bay Police. Now the question is- where can I get a photo of this tower when the cupola was still intact? Maybe the police have an old photo before they took the cupola off the top? Can someone direct me to where I can obtain a photo? Maybe an old retired MNR man was there when they filmed the scenes in 1965. |
