| Comment: | I love Walton Goggins. Who doesn't. He is honest, real and will never never change. He is such a very old soul. The world is his family and he loves us.
I've been a fan since I saw him in a Pilot shot in France. |

| Comment: | Hi Tammy (I hope I've got that right),
I wanted to send a separate note to you, rather than adding it to my 'gush' to/ about Walton earlier(!).
I am terribly sorry that you have suffered breast cancer. I am not very informed but I do hope you are now doing well and in better health. I recently (30 May this year) lost my father due to cardiac arrest and four days later my mother was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer. God likes to test us in his little ways, but we didn't lose faith.
Mum has had a successful op and is now needing to see the oncologists re further (fortunately only preventative/ precautionary) treatment.
We are gradually sighing the odd gasp of relief but the enormity of the void left my Dad's departure has certainly hit us hard. We miss him so much.
So, I know how hard it must have been for you to deal with your illness and I have to say that I truly admire your spirit and strength of character in continuing to be so positive and focused. You must be a great person to be around.
Thank you very much, indeed, for taking the time to put together this (now archive) site and the new one.
What would Walton and other celebs do without devoted fans like you?!
Very best regards,
Serena :D x |

Too many to mention here...Glengary Glen Ross, State of Grace, Untouchables, Empire of the Sun, Dog Soldiers, Shawshank Redemption, Kung Foo Hustle, Every Which Way But [x], Restoration, Plunkett & Macleane, Hackers, an awful lot of films from the Far East, No Country...A lot of Westerns & old British films, now all too easily forgotten - I really prefer to have favourite scenes/ performances in films. |

I do; I feel it; we should all feel it. I have always had a passion for/ inner connection to trees - but that's another story...and a bucket load of poetry that I will most likely never seek to get published. Idiot that I am! |
| Comment: | Walton, I know I am just another anonymous (well, sort of, albeit the above trundle of waffle) fan. However, I am already hooked!
I am fairly new to the world of your wonderous self and amazed to read how much you do for others less fortunate than youself, outside of your acting, directing, etc (where on earth do you find the time?). I believe that, if there were more people in the world with your energy and passion to seek out and facilitate a better way forward then, surely, the world would be a happier place. You are a role model to others.
So, thank you, for being the wonderful (and completely dishy) you and I can't wait to watch some of your work from over the years and, of course, that to come. I wish you every continued success - you clearly deserve it.
Very best regards and an enormous hug from a little lady in Kent, Serena x |

| Comment: | I like movies and respect the acting profession though I have nothing to do with it. Like many, I have my list of favorite actors: Pacino, Hackman, Streep, Mirren etc. Walton, you are making your way onto that list with your performance as Boyd Crowder. Timothy Olyphant is great, as is the writing, but you routinely steal the show. I enjoyed your work on The Shield a great deal, but you offer new dimensions to such an intriguing character. I Am an ex-Marine, public school teacher (who should be grading papers) that has never written any fan mail; that's how compelling you are in this role. Well done, and keep growing. |

| Comment: | I love this website!! And I have to also say I LOVE Walton. He is the first actor that can get me to cry in a show or movie. (seriously) I can't tell you how many times Shane Vendrell made me choke up. And of course the very last episode of the Shield. My goodness I burst into tears and it freaked out my German Shepard. I am a pretty lucky person when it comes to famous people, usually I can in some way meet anyone I want to. But I have not yet figured out how in the world I can meet Walton. What would I say to him?? Maybe I LOVE YOU! And then he would run scared the other direction... (or call for security) LOL
Thanks for all your hard work on this website. It really is a nice site.
I wish you Peace, Light & Love

| Comment: | Walton was peerless as Shane...The Shield had a lot of powerful characters but Walt stood out by being one of the weakest. That was Shane's thing...he loved Vic and Vic loved him, but Shane had an in-built abiltiy to fuck up and piss Vic off. Vic always compensated for Shane's weakenesses out of loyalty and deep affection but it could not go on forever. Both players were superb and develped complex characters untied in their moral ambiguity....superb...Walt reminds me of Warren Oates a hell of a lot, another great Southern actor, and should enjoy a similar career in films, if there is any justice.... |

| Comment: | I'm surprised at how difficult it's been to find a site dedicated to Walton Goggins!
I'm a member over at The Shield Rap, and a fan of each member of the cast, and the writers, and everyone who contributes to having made and continuing to make The Shield some of the most intelligent yet primal television I've ever experienced.
But then, we're here to talk about Walton, right? There are so many things I'd like to say, things that have been said many times before by many different people, here and elsewhere, and sometimes I wonder whether or not all the accolades from fans begin to just wash over a person after a while, blend together and cease to have much meaning. I know it's probably a delicate balance to strike when you're an actor; If you care too much about the accolades, you'll care too much about detraction, and that can wreak havoc with your self-confidence. So you try to take things in stride, keep an even keel . . .
I guess it doesn't really matter, because it won't stop me from saying that the fact that Walton Goggins hasn't won an Emmy yet confirms the total dissilusion of my trust in the people who vote on the awards. So, for what it's worth, I'm casting my words out into the ether, just because I can. Mr. Goggins, it's hard to qualify why we out here love and admire the work of people like you. I think it's because you show us the most intimate aspects of what it is to be human, the potential and the pitfalls, and break through the shell of ordinary daily existence, taking us to places we may not know how to describe or reach on our own, through art. I don't know why that's so important to human beings, but it is. I thank you for the places you've taken me. I look forward to the places you'll take me in the future. You have a fan for life. |
