I am both excited and sadden. I am sadden that the old church/sanctuary has been torn down. But I am overwhelmed with joy over the new sanctuary. I am excited to come "home" this year. I have learned so much just by knowing him. The first lady always has a beautiful smile each time I see her and always a pleasant conversation. The congregation! The congregation! Besides most being family members of mine or a classmate; everyone is so kind and generous. | comments: | I was raiseed at this church by my Grandfather and Grandmother, Jonatha and Florence Mcmillian. I was batistied when I was 12 years old, along with my two brother and one sister. I now live in California, and has been here over 20 years. I have an Aunt that attends every Sunday. My Aunt Jeraline Merritt. God has been good to me through- out the years, and what my Grand parent taught me, I will forever whole them in my heart. May God continue to bless each and every member of this Holy church. I will never find a church like the one I grew up in, in Southern California.
