Birth name: Melissa Louise Kass Birth date: June 29, 1980 Birth Place: New Orleans, Louisiana Was living with me until she was 7 months old, she became ill and was put in Charity Hospital. She was removed from Charity by a doctor and put in Sue Ellen Smith in Gretna. She was adopted by a couple who tried to have children for 16 years but was unable. The couple might have been Dr. Moore and his wife, who had been a nurse but retired to raise my daughter after adoption. The doctor saved my daughter's life, it was find that she had a rare and deadly skin cancer. I would like to meet my daughter and the doctor and his wife and thank them for what they did for my daughter. |

| Profile - Include as much info as possible: | I am a birthmother looking for my son. He was born on Thursday, May 5, 1983 at Rolling Hills Hospital in Elkins Park, Pa. I was a single mom at the time of his birth and was led to believe that giving him up would be the best thing for him, considering the circumstances. Our family doctor had friends who were desperate for a child. They were well off and my child would want for nothing. Things I couldn't give him. His adoption was handled by a lawyer named Filmore Horowitz Esq. He was adopted by a family of jewish desent that resided in Cherry Hill, NJ. The adoption was finalized in August of the same year. I was told by the nurses on the floor that he wouldn't eat for them so he was brought in to me. I bonded with him immediately. I fed him, bathed him, held him, and took pictures of him. I was led to believe that if I just went through with the adoption, I would get pictures at different stages of his life, so I would know that I'd made the right decision. I never heard from anyone. I just want to know that he's alright, and to let him know that I've never stopped loving him. He also has a brother and 2 sisters that would love to meet him and have a relationship with if possible. Thank you for allowing us to log on. You're an angel! |
