No, I got broadband! It's been a while since I've started posting in this book, and my tastes have changed somewhat in case your wondering about the Polly-helmet thing (originally I liked her without it, but now I think I prefer it). Anyway, down to business.
I first stumbled upon this site in 2000, sometime in December so just a little over a year since the user's last update. I was young at the time, and in awe at the fact that I had received access to the almighty Information Superhighway as a birthday gift. I confess it now that the thought of searching for my beloved Cats did note strike me at first (at the time, I was caught up in the whole Pokemon fad). However, once the idea floated into my youthful mind I couldn't strike the keys fast enough, hoping that someone had some record of my favorite show, something to ease the longing that had been present for two years by thay point. I was pleasently surprised. As it turned out, the Internet housed a whole community of SPC lovers, and I couldn't have been more excited! I immediately found myself back in the realm of Little Tokyo, enjoying the feline antics so familiar once again. And then I came here, and read the oh so magnificent work of art that is 'BALANCE-The Birds'. Like everyone else at the time, I was eager for the conclusion. But years past, and I attempted to draw conclusions as to why the author refused to update. I purposed the theory that he was killed in the Columbine shooting, or was severly effected by the incident. Although it does seem fairly far-fetched, I confess the eerie date the hangs on the hompage nonetheless brings up the event as a possible explanation. More time passed, and I went a little looney. I pulled a prank on everyone, saying that I was the user that had refused to update. Some inquired into this, and were met with disappointment when I told them I lied. I have no idea who this person was, or if they will ever return. I know it must seem like they won't by this point, but stranger things have happened. I was in fifth grade when I first came here. Now, it's less than three days away from graduation, and soon I'll be stacking my stuff in a college dorm. My introduction to the Pizza Cats was in second grade, and now, nearly ten years later I still consider them absolutely wonderful, the best show that ever existed or will ever exist. It's sites like these that keep the Cats alive, and for that I, and many others I'm sure, are eternally grateful. Thank you Dr. Crow, for all that you've done. |

been here so long but Guido asked me out and when I came over he had really dressed up & he looked H-O-T!!! Unfortunatley, he thought he looked so great he spent well over a month admiring himself in the mirror and he was only ready to leave 3 hours ago and we had dinner at this fancy restaurant and he spent the whole time looking at his reflection in a wine glass. Still, I enjoyed the date because, man is is one helluva pasher!!! It was worth all that waitng :D |
