Normally when I read books I'm in the story. When I read Wildwood dancing I wasn't here anymore, but in Transylvania.
I hope ther will be a sequel to Wildwood Dancing. p.s. Sorry if my English isn't very good.

Juliet Marillier, in partnership with the forum Mundo Marillier, have signed books to offer. Do you want to know more about it?
Here are the rules. Rules: To enter the contest, you have to write a short-story, in Portuguese or English, with a maximum length of 5 pages (size Times New Roman 12 or similar, line spacing 1,5). The theme is free, but the story must be along the lines of a fairytale or folk tale, done in an inventive and original way. It can have any setting, modern, historical, fantastic... And you must include all these items: a red scarf; a crow; a secret; a promise; brothers or sisters. The forum administration will publish your story in the space of the contest, in the forum Mundo Marillier (www.mundomarillier.pt.vu) You can send your stories until May 3rd. After this period, we will start the selection process - members of the forum will vote on their favourite stories by a poll (you don't need to be registered on the forum to enter the contest, but you should for voting on your favourite story). Voting process will take a month. Awards: Authors of the top three stories in English will win a Juliet Marillier's autographed copy of Cybele's Secret or Wildwood Dancing. Juliet Marillier sucks ass. she has written nothing that has not put me to sleep in the first five minutes. the forums on the website are cheesy too. all the people on there have no life and hang out there to be cool. juliet herself looks like an overgrown lesbian. Juliet Marillier is just about as exciting as watching grass grow SNORE!

Ever since I've read the first book of the Sevenwaters Trilogy, DAUGHTER OF THE FOREST, I have been searching for more information on Juliet Marillier!! Her books are entrancing and I don't know how she does it! Juliet Marillier writes so well; captivating and enthralling. I've also just finished WILDWOOD DANCING and it was tremendously good. I kept going back to reread it when I had some spare time. She is possibly the most 'gets-under-your-skin' type of writer I have ever accountered. Juliet Marillier is brilliant! I'm still waiting(!)to read SON OF THE SHADOWS, the Second of the Sevenwaters because my library doesn'y have it. I asked them, and they said they would (possibly) get it [!!] okay, then I guess I have to go now. BYE
ps. I'm planning to write to her..! :)

Juliet Marillier stories have fascinated me from the very beginning. Daughter of the Forest is based off my favorite Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, and since picking up that one book I haven't been able to put down the rest of hers. Everything she writes is pure gold.

I have always loved the story of the Wild Swans (also printed under The Seven Swans)and when i happened upon a novel based on that story I knew I had to read it. I was enthralled by the celtic take on it for that saga and I am having just as much fun with her latest Norse saga now.

so i reallllly like this website!!! its fantastic! beautiful i think. and i cant get over how amazing a writer JM is. every time idont know what else to read i pick up one of the sevenwaters trilogy and flip to a random page and just get completly emmersed in the plot again!! they are wonderful. i was so eager to read child of the prophecy that when it came out in the UK but not in the US (where i live) i had my aunt write to one of her friends there and get her to buy me a copy and send it over here. so i have a very large unusual paperback copy with a picture of (who i imagineto be) Fainne and Darraugh on the front. and his horse Aoife, i think thats how youy spell it. ok well thats all for now.

I love Juliet Marillier's stories! Daughter of the Forest was given to me by my aunt and each time I read it I love the story more. I haven't read the next books yet but I try to get it out at the library and their copy has been lost! Oh well, perhaps I shall save up and buy it? Or perhaps my aunt will? ;)
