I had a quaker and we had to sell him due to unforeseen circumstances which I had no control over. I have decided to get another bird. It was going to be a cockatoo but after reading more info on them , have decided against them. A macaw I think would be a better choice due to my allergies cockatoos have too much white dust. I am owned by a Blue & Gold and really enjoy every minute of it. They become family after a couple of days. I am a disabled Vet and have plenty of time to devote to the larger species. I am sorry to hear of your birds that have passed on so to speak, I do not like to say they died, because I believe they did go to Bird Heaven to be with Saint Francis, He was an animal lover. I was to buy a yellow collar mini mccaw, but he also had passed on when just 2 months old, they were hand feeding him and he exasperated. Sad, I was greatly attached to this bird, going to pet store & playing with him. I am searching for another. May GOD continue to Bless you & all your "kids"! (\O/)
