I was about to sign another guestbook and saw your name and home area so I decided to visit your site too. I must say that the Pocono's are beautiful. I was born and raised in Scranton. My husband and I just moved here, to North Carolina a couple years ago. We wanted to get away from the cold and snow. He's from Syracuse, New York. We were lucky to find good jobs here (there's lots of work) and mild and beautiful weather. We figured, instead of waiting until retirement, we'd get a head start. My family is still in Scranton and I do miss them and get homesick from time to time but you can't have it all!!! We visit when we can. The South is like another world. It was quite a culture shock for us. We welcome any "Yankees" that come to our area!!! You have a beautiful site and some nice stories to tell. I really enjoyed my "visit" with you and yours.
