| Comments: | I have always loved the cure, I am listening to SHOW right now. I have loved them for like 16 years now and I still have barely cracked their discography. Now with the internet one can actually see how many cds they have released.
Does anyone out there remember when we used to have to buy magazines to find out about the cure and had to listen to Fm radio to hear about concert dates? Feels like a lifetime ago.
If there are any female Cure fans reading this who always wanted a boy who loved the cure as much as they did, well I am right here in the SFV. |

I read about what his songs are supposed to mean and was surprised to learn what they were about because I had different ideas of what they meant. Robert if you ever read this I just want you to know you are a really special person. You have had a life that noone could ever even imagine to experience. I admire the fact that you were married at such a young age and stayed together throughout all of it. I was married when I was 20 so I can relate to being young and married. You go through alot of good and bad times but that is what makes you strong and love each other more. You were right about what you said about if you had alot of experiences with alot of different people you wouldn't feel like they knew all of you so you would rather share that with only one person.

I have seen the future so many times that I don't understand it, neither I want to understand it.
Certain time I leaned out of the window of the corridor of the department in that he/she lived and I looked at the horizon. In the distance the roofs of some houses full with dirts were seen and I thought some day I surely finish living there."
Indeed, I was not exactly me, but some years but my mother takes she would live with my sister in these houses.
And I had that for a time there. From the window he/she looked at that building and he/she thought of the easy thing that it had been to deduce all that would happen in these years exactly.
I always think that the life is like a movie that we already know the end, the outrage of the things...

I could have sweared I was cursed, Many years ago I had tickets to see them in San Diego and They had to cancel, I could not make it to L.A, then When they came to San Diego that same day my husband had a terrible accident and I had to be next to him at the hospital,,, I was torn between my love for The Cure and my obligation as a wife... I'm just happy I was finally able to see them, they are the best .... and as Robert would say " I think I've reached that Point".

Hace mucho tiempo mienstras era un joven perdido en un mar de desubicación conocí a The cure en 1984, simepre pensé que eran grandes, hoy creo que simplemente son unicos.
Volverán a tocar en México y con ello vuleven a mis recuerdos miles de historias de mi vida en la cual no era tanto el hecho de sentirte parte de algo sino sentitr una parte de Robert Smith al vestir e imitarlo, Robert Vino a cambiarle la vida a todo el mundo, sin bailar extravagante, sin ser muy elocuente, sin parecer estéticamente bello, simplemente vino a este mundo a darnos una lección de personalidad que muchos aún reusan a dejar.
Cuantas veces imaginé volver a verlos, después del kissing tour en Houston, después de Monterrey en 1992, ahora volverán a México en donde miles y miles de jovenes los apreciaremos nuevamente.
Soy un tipo afortunado, pase por los 80's, los 90's no me importaron pues conocí el ambiarte Goth y me pareció mejor que gun's and roses y cuando pensé que ya no abría mucho en mi vida vuelve The Cure a mi país en donde solamente podré decir que si soy un tipo con mucha, pero mucha suerte.

I have to say that The Cure really has moved me and touched my life through the last 15 years. I'm 39 and since I was 17....wow, they have brought out every emotion, especially when I needed it. It wasn't so much the song that grabbed me because I knew it well from the radio, but something about him. Wish was the first CD I ever bought and it is still my favorite. I was a freshman in high school. Even tho he is old enough to be my dad, I would still do anything I could to be with him. I wrote a lot of poetry growing up and I felt he and I were always on the same page. I would do anything to meet him, just once, just to shake his hand and say hi... |

| Comments: | I saw the hp commercial with "Pictures of You" last night. I was floored! I used the long 2+ minute intro to that song when I walked down the aisle, and instead of a "normal" wedding recessional, we left to "Mint Car." I'm 26, and have been a huge fan since I was 10. I'd like to say to the girls out there that Robert Smith is every girl's soulmate, so stop obsessing. You're not the only one, and most importantly, you're not his wife. The poor man must get tired of being a sex symbol sometimes. And if you were a true fan of his genius, you would all realize that we are not worthy to even speak to him, much less be HIS soulmate. Although, I'm sure it's comforting for him to know that if he ever finds himself alone in the future, there are a million girls waiting in line. |
