A good day to you. My name is Adrian Wong and I am the Senior Casting Director for Ch 5 drama and comedy unit. Currently, I am involved in the production of Lifeline Season 2 whose main casts are Gurmit Singh, Michelle Chia and Adam Chen. The drama is about the working and personal lives of a group of fire fighters.
In one episode of the drama series, I will need a concert band to play a tango piece. Music is provided thru the use of the CD. All we need is a band to play their instruments to make it more convincing for the viewers.
Therefore we would like to invite the NYP Concert Band Alumni to appear in our show. For the band, I would need a drummer ( percussionist), clarinet, trumpet, trombone, bassist and saxophone musicians.
The scene with the band will take place in a ballroom. And we prefer to have an all male team in our show.
The filming will start in the month of March with about 2 days of filming.
We will offer a remuneration package to the team for being involved in our show.
In return for your kind assistance, we will acknowledge the NYP Concert Band Alumni in our final credit of our show.

Just finished downloading the MP3 (Rondeau 18). Thanks Chun Hui.

Unfortunately, the current NP convention hall is not suitable for band performance. Sad to say, just as "bad" as LT26.
I look forward to see the next Rondeau back to VCH again.

I suggest a NPCB Alumni Concert in every 2 years. Location - VCH or Esplanade. With proper committee set-up, to look into ticketing, A&P, Stage, Funds, Repertoire, Instruments etc. Most importantly, the balance of the band, as there will be more members every year.
