http://www.johnmaxfield.net Yesterday, while on the air I promised to upload some new videos of the band... Where are they!? Well, there is a small problem with the size of the files... That small problem is that the files are huge. So it's a big small problem... If that makes any sense. Of course it doesn't, but you won't hold that against me will you? Of course you won't. Being as they are in high definition at the moment, I have been trying to find a standard that everyone can agree with for putting them on the site. When I say "everyone," I mean you all, we the band, and our web site server- Dreamhost. We love Dreamhost, but at the moment, we're not paying them boo-coo bucks to host gigabytes of video and audio. We would LOVE to have that kind of money and/or disk space, but before heading to Chicago on the 17th to make that money, I am going to upload it song by song to YouTube. Cool right?

We also have new shirts that we're going to start selling at our show at the Mutiny in Chicago on November 17th. THAT will be a killer show. Hopefully we'll find a way to get the video and/or audio from it up here after the fact... for those of you who can't possibly make it. I hate the limitations of YouTube, but they are more forgiving than the limitations of my server... Sigh...

http://www.johnmaxfield.net WARNING:

I am hearing from people in Chicago and Atlanta that have been dealing with Ira Webster, AKA Mike Webster, AKA Avris Records.

For those of you who don't know the story about this asshole, look here:
www.johnmaxfield.net/wtf.htm

I assure you that if you are speaking to Ira/Mike and/or Avris Records, you are being targeted by one of the single dumbest and most infamous scam artists on the outskirts of the music business. If you've met Ira, forget you ever did, right now- you will be doing yourself a big favor. What I wrote on the above web site, in hindsight, is still mostly accurate. How I feel now is different than how I felt back then. My former drummer and good friend Chris Blakley were made miserable by the empty promises of this wanted criminal. In fact, I'm pretty sure that Chris stopped playing for about a year or so completely after the contract that technically never existed fell through. We were promised thousands of dollars and an annual salary. All we had to do was sign over intellectual property of our own, and a bunch of other people who we first were supposed to help Ira con- even though he didn't call it a con. Just a contract.

I just wanted to put something up that was current on the Internet so that you hopeful hypothetical people out there who may be doing a Google search to find a shred of credibility on this sorry fuck find the truth instead.

Now that you know the truth, some advice:

Invest in your own future- whatever it is you want to do. If you want to make music for a living, I promise you it is possible... Just probably not the way you think it is. The reality is, you have to be able to sell your work. YOU have to be able to sell YOUR work before YOU hire SOMEONE ELSE to help YOU do it. You should not be looking for someone to do it for you. You should be looking for someone to show how to do it.

Chances are, you will never be offered a record contract by a major label- especially if you are an American not based in New York or Los Angeles. If you are offered a contract by one of these labels, it is not the solution to all of your problems- it is the beginning of a short living hell before you loose all sight of what drove you to this thing called the Music Business in the first place- you love to play, write, and record.

That prick from the label won't even talk to you until you have sold THOUSANDS of dollars worth of music ALL BY YOURSELF. He will then want to exploit you and your brilliant ability to sell- something he can't do without you and others he has duped. The difference between a major label A&R exec and Ira Webster is only measurable in dollars and cents. Same assholes, better suits.

Don't spend $1,000 at a CD duplication plant to get about 1000 CDs when you have sold less than 300 copies of your CD. Make it yourself, or find someone like TantrumNiche.com to do a short run for you very inexpensively. Obviously, since I founded that company- I reccomend Tantrum Niche. I also reccomend Tantrum Niche because they have an honest track record of producing good material, getting good publicity, and making a decent number of sales. Tantrum Niche, unlike a label, holds no ownership of the material it releases. In a nutshell, find someone who is more willing to think of ways to help you than to find more and more shit to charge you for. You'll go nowhere- nowhere but broke- dealing with any other kind of company in the early stages of your career.

Read every book you can find on the subject of the music business. Look for the book by Donald S. Passman and the book "Starting Your Own Record Label." Look out for the annual Songwriter's Market- you can find it at Barnes And Noble or Borders or Amazon.com. Most importantly, plan ahead and be as realistic as possible. Get as much feedback as you possibly can. Do whatever you can to get your music to as many people as possible, and don't forget- it's about the music. Everything else is just business. Make it your business, and be careful. Plan ahead as far as you possibly can. Don't try to make a career for yourself doing music unless you have no idea how else to live your life... And if you see Ira Webster, tell him to go fuck himself- or call the FBI... They're looking for him.

http://www.johnmaxfield.net These tickets are incredibly cheap! Five for ten!? What!? Madness! :)

We're helping the NPO "Five Of Us" raise money again. The Forest Park Show brought central air conditioning to neighborhoods that would have been in a lot of trouble this last week with the 100+ degree weather and horrendous humidity St. Louis is is kind of famous for. This time around, we're going to be playing in U-City- incoorporating an outdoor light show and a pretty amazing sound system. Lawrence even tells me there will be a stage set up and a fog machiene... Hooray. More importantly- we're bringing an amazingly well rehearsed (and soon to be well improvised) set that should please any crowd kind enough to turn up. Proceeds, this time, will go to area schools for educational supplies.

http://www.johnmaxfield.net Because I am busy, not lazy, I have not upated the site "up to par." Don't worry, though- "The Arrival" will arrive on schedule- 7/7/07 at 7:07 PM (CST.)

Where can you get it?

Here, and only here at www.johnmaxfield.net.

While you are waiting, find the best set of headphones you can find. I reccomend listening to this one with headphones, as loud as you can possibly stand it... Rob-Getzchman-Style.*

I'm really proud of this new record, even though I know it's not going to be the type of thing that pays the bills. What pays the bills? Stuff that sounds like this:

http://www.johnmaxfield.net/Studio%20Time.mp3

Qwotesillable. The Legend. You heard it here first- warts and all.

Thanks to everyone who left comments since my last post, everyone who came to Forest Park, and all of you who are coming tomorrow night to see me and the new band do the best set we've ever put together. Pianos, guitars, a new man on the bass, and many, many, many drums being beaten to splinters by the Mad Russian on Percussion.

In closing- don't forget to tune into my radio show with Louie-Lou-Ron-Bonz this Sunday afternoon on 89.1 FM- a really cool commercial free radio station. Naturally, I'll be spinning some music from the Saint Louis area, and some other good stuff too. If you know a band you would like us to have on the show- post their site, PLEASE! We're looking for a few more good bands to have on the show. You can post requests for other stuff, too right here on the guestbook- which I can view live in the studio. Pretty cool, eh? I'm working on getting clearance from all the people I need it from to podcast the show as well, so everyone everywhere can hear it anytime, so long as they have a computer with speakers and an internet connection- which should pretty much cover everyone in the world who isn't Eddie or Mary. I keed.

Good night.

http://www.johnmaxfield.net The EPK doesn't quite work yet, but it's on the way. At the moment, I am getting ready to rehearse with Eddie and Austin, and as soon as that is over I will be mastering some new songs by Tantrum Niche's latest and greatest... I'll be sure and upload something as soon as it's done... You all have got to hear this guy.

Other then the non-functioning EPK, I'm probably going to link the shows to something besides my latest promotional video on YouTube... You know, the one about me and the band and Morning Vision Blue taking on the Way Out Club... but everyone already knows that and is coming, I'm sure. ;)

If for some reason you haven't added me on Myspace yet, now is a wonderful time to do so- even though I have been discouraged to check that page as frequently as I once did due to massive quantities of spam about something called 'profile watcher.' I also can't IM on Myspace because I run Mac OS X, but to be honest, I don't think I'm missing much.

With my Diary-X page deleted suddenly, without a trace, and seemingly for no reason- combined with Myspace being slow and not-so-steady, I think I'm ready to come home to my own Guestbook here on my own page. Besides, I like this page a lot more now. I'm hoping to upload many more reasons for everyone else to enjoy it to. If nothing else, I hope to use this site as a portal to all of the places on the Internet that have my work available in some way.

More buttons on the right (and fully functional ones!) will soon arrive, too. I'm sure a YouTube button is in order, but if anyone has a specific idea- just leave it here. Instead of scrolling all the way to the bottom, you can simply click on the JM logo to the left to leave a message. Easy!

POFN.

chrisisthefuckingman@johnmaxfield.net

http://www.johnmaxfield.net Who speaks ill of the drummer? Chris Blakley is the fucking man, end of story. Back in the good old days, he and Zoki and John were so good, that some douche bag in a green shirt offered them a lot of money! But enough about that little bitch, more on Chris-

I challenge any who think they are the best drummer alive to match up against Chris after six beers, and I will hand you tissues as you cry from your miserable defeat from the glory of his noodle-arm-whimsy and dead-on-balls accuracy. Or you can use the tissues if you must masturbate to his perfectly constructed drum kit, the envy of all drummers in the world- possibly soon to be fully customized with a mud flap chick to go with the attire of the bad ass mother fucker who beats the skins like a 6th grader with an unfairly gorgeous teacher.

Bow down to the glory of Chris Blakley, for he is the master of beating shit up with rhythm and style, the original King of Beers, and the man who continues to pimp so hard that to see and hear him play is to be sonically bitch slapped in a way that you couldn't know how to thank him for.

As far as John Maxfield- he should get his suit-wearing, tinted-glasses sporting, hat wearing, tapered jeans coated ass the hell out of the way of the drummer he so indominately stands in front of. At least Zoki stayed the fuck out of the way. Maybe John does it on purpose- knowing that nobody wants to look at him face on, and that they all must go to the side of the room so they can get to the booze and get a better view of Chris Blakley beating his drums and every other drummer on god's green earth.

http://www.johnmaxfield.net Here is is again- it's been a while since I have posted in my own book, but it's good to see that there have been many posts since my last one. I'm about to overhaul this whole site, but eliminating the guestbook isn't going to happen. Reading this thing is like watching my so-called "music career" flash before my eyes, which is both rewarding and slightly embarassing- but what the hell. I've been cheating on this site with myspace. It's not in my nature to be unfaithful, but I owe this site some attention. I've neglected it for too long. Get what you can while the gettin's good- it's all about to go away and come back in a different way I hope you all enjoy. But it's time to finally kill all of these damned space invaders.

I'll probably put up the latter for listening at our site--thefrozenfoodsection.com, so everyone can hear your sax, piano and bass combining with the ice cold concepts and bonified choruses we like to supply to the nice folk who want more of it. Peace from 2.3 million feet, it's Jonathan Toth in the space to be.

http://www.myspace.com/johnmaxfieldband Olivia- thanks for submitting the poem. I had to make a slight change to your entry, I hope you don't mind. I will email you to explain further. You are quite talented yourself, and I hope to read more from you in the future.

Three shows last week in three days. Sheesh. That UMSL show was really good- too, I wasn't quite expecting much of anything to really happen there, but I met a lot of really cool people (like Olivia) there- mostly women... It was, as I found out, the end of Women's History Month at UMSL- I had no idea. I just showed up with my guitar and starting figuring things out as I went.

Cummel's was Cummel's.

Playing Borders with Tucker Booth trancended the possibilities of what is supposed to happen at a Borders show. We made a show out of it. We were not background music by any means- and we both played to both floors of the store. It was a little re-assuring for the tour coming up in similar-type places...

Anyway, thanks so much to all who came and enjoyed- and even went so far as to tell me so. Thanks to UMSL, Cummel's, and Borders.

Thanks to the people who still read this guestbook more often than I do.

As for embarassment, I told Del the Funkee Homosapien that I would have a album out by march 98, and this was back when I was a rapper and not a musician at all, in spring 96' at their show at the blue note. And now I am on some rock and roll and still no record. These things happen, at least you're not AXEL ROSE!

The band before the band before the last band was Circa, who are excellent. I have played a few shows with them and I try and see them as much as possible. I also met a couple of the guys from Berry before the other night and got their CD, but I had not seen them live before the Red Sea show- I was impressed with them too. I missed most of the first band (Caleb Engtrom- I think is how you spell his last name) and I have no idea who the other band was. Anyway- yeah. Good times. Our Hi-Pointe show is still on. You should come- we got Velvet Freeze and Cat Jump on the bill- so this has all the ammo to be a kickass rock show.

http://wilsmith.50megs.com DUDE, I AM SO SORRY!

GREAT SHOW on the 28th! Crap, can't anybody have a name that isn't already in use by another musician? Ah well, we CAN all get a long, but as for booking, liscencing etc. that has got to suck. Am I going to have to call my self Willie Sixx or something like that? Hopefully not. Are you going to have to be come John Maxfeeled? That's just goofy. Ah well, I checked out Geoff's page, and if we every get a band name we'll put one up too. Short, sweet, and simple is my preference, but all those names seem to be taken, and I don't want to resort to missspelling.

So, anyways, next show will be March 31st at UMSL. If you're in town, you're booked, same for Geoff. It's a delayed b-day party show kind of thing in collab with a student org here promoting the arts...

but I've said enough... ROck out on the 26th, we put Mike Mueller's show pictures up on our purevolume page:

http://www.purevolume.com/keeptrying

and if you're wondering, I think that is the band name...

http://www.johnmaxfield.net The band and I are almost ready for our first acoustic show ever, which (as you can read in numerous places on our site) is happening this Friday at the Studio Cafe... 1309 Washington Street at 10:00 PM.

There are a few good reasons we're all looking forward to it. For one thing, the last show we did here at home in St. Louis was HUGE. I think I mentioned that before. I'm still a little high from the experience- thinking about all of the shouting, dancing, and applause- it was something else- a great way to end last year. The three of us (Zoki, Chris, and I) all felt a wonderful vibe from the many of you (too many to name now, but I still remember when I could name all three people in the audience) who were kind enough to spend the evening with us in St. Louis last time.

And now, once again, we're playing here at home. We have another show here coming up at the end of next month before we hit the road. We're still locking in tour dates- it's going to be a lot of fun. The first leg of the tour will involve Tucker Booth and Jonathan Toth From Hoth, two good friends who we were very excited to have play with us at Off Broadway last time around. Those of you who were there know what I'm talking about. Tuck must be seen to be believed. I've also been fortunate to work with J-Toth on some of his new album, "The Lovecycle-" coming very soon. Toth's new CD will blow your mind even more than his last one- he's on the verge of a tremendous achievement, and I can't wait to see him bask in it. He'll deserve every good thing that comes to him from it.

There's also been loose talk about having Geoff Koch (who is playing with us at Studio this Friday) come along for the tour, or part of it. I'd like that a lot, too. He and I hammered out a very good EP in a matter of several weekends that we're both pretty pleased with. Make sure if you go to the show this weekend you get there soon enough to catch Geoff's part of the show. One way or another, the aformentioned EP will be available at our show this weekend. Naturally, every possible thing that has gone wrong with the duplication did- but I was counting on it to, so I think everything will turn out fine.

What else can I say to make this post longer?

We put up a page on myspace- nothing too fancy. We've "made some friends" there, though- so that's exciting. There have been many good responses to the three songs they let us put up so far. I'm going to be taking down a lot of the music I have up for free on this site pretty soon- but it is being replaced with different music. Make sure you download what you haven't downloaded so you're not mad at me when it is suddenly gone.

Wil and Mike, soon to be formerly known as "Once And For All," set up the show on Friday, so I thank them for that. They've got this Studio Cafe' gig thing down cold. We also got to thank Michele Ulson for being such a sweetie every time we (or I) have played there in the past.

I'll close this monster-post by saying "thanks," once again, to everyone who comes out to see us. The shows are important to us and we want them to be important to you too. My biggest reward to all of you who are listening will be "Elevator," my double CD coming out this May- and the tour stops along the way. We're doing a few 'weird versions' of some songs from it on Friday. Hopefully I won't change any lyrics between now and then. ;)

See you there.

Where?

One more time:
Studio Cafe
1309 Washington

Next to "Velvet"

We'll make sure you know we were glad you made it. You'll be glad you did, too.

Food for Thought:

Why are there bands called Once and For All out there on Pure Volume

Why can't I think of another name?

Why don't I have an album out when I have so many songs that people respond well to?

Why ask Why? "because I said so that's why?"

I look forward to the show on the 28th.
Maybe the band album is going to be harder to do, so I think I might do the Willie Smith album, the singer songwriter thing that got me here in the first place... we'll see.

http://www.johnmaxfield.net Hello again, everyone- and Happy New Year!

I've got a lot of news since my last post...

There is a bunch of stuff with our recent signing (see the news page) that is finally coming to light that I am very excited about. Pretty soon, the band and I are going to be on the road to get America as ready as possible for "Elevator," my new album. If you didn't know yet, it's a double album that is coming out in spring- and I can't properly explain how excited I am to get it out to you all. It is easily the best thing I have ever done. It will be released, of course, by Tantrum Niche and Avris Records.

Speaking of Tantrum Niche, the label I started way back in 2002, we're partnering up with Avris and taking our whole roster along for the ride. Busy as I've been working out the final touches of "Elevator," I've also been hard at work with Geoff Koch, The Frozen Food Section, Circa, and others putting together something MONUMENTAL that you all should be very excited about. Geoff's album (that I produced) is coming out very soon, and it's pretty damn good. He and I will be rocking the Studio Cafe' with our old friends from Once And For all this month- so definately check that out. We're doing one more confirmed show in February at the Hi-Pointe, too with another kickin' power trio: Velvet Freeze and also Cat, Jump! If Cat, Jump! sounds familiar, they played with us at our last 2004 show at Off Broadway and were fantastic. Velvet Freeze is well known and loved in Kansas City, and I'm glad to bring them into St. Louis to show you all why.

I was glad to see that the RFT named "Tucker Booth 4 President" as one of the top three underground albums of last year. It's well deserved, Tuck! Tucker rocked with us at Off Broadway as well last month, and we're bringing him on the road with us for the tour- good times, people.

Elise has been recording, too. One of these days, we'll get something of hers out because she kicks ass. We're working on getting her to kick ass on a more regular basis in my studio, where many an ass have been kicked. We should have (at least) a WHOLE SONG done pretty soon. I might even talk her into getting it out to the masses. :)

2005 is a big year, already. A tour, a new album (TWO CDS!), and re-issues of my earlier stuff- with bonus tracks. We're also releasing at least one DVD- and that's just the stuff that has my name on it in big letters. Be on the look out for my name on some stuff by Jonathan Toth From Hoth, Tucker Booth, Geoff Koch, Circa, Cat, Jump!- and who knows- maybe even a Dale Maxfield album... though mon frere' has not mentioned that he has anything up his sleeve recently- it's almost that time again for him to drop yet another set of songs on Kansas City.

I'm really excited about all this cool stuff- there's a lot of good CDs and shows coming out from Tantrum Niche this year- and finally a web site this month. Tantrum Niche is also getting married to Avris- and they're going to make beautiful music together in 2005.

I'll try and post more in 2005- but that's not an official resolution. If you want to check out some of the people I spoke of in this post, browse to:

thefrozenfoodsection.com
catjump.com
stlpunk.com/circa
dalemaxfield.com
velvetfreeze.com

True love to all of you in 2005. We're on myspace.com too, I almost forgot.

"Elevator" drops soon! (What a clever pun!)

Hey John,

Although it's been months since the last time I've seen your face (well, except for one little incident involving a beat-up Oldsmobile and grave retardation that we'll just not talk about), I just wanted to say, happy times on your record deal and let's hope I can feel like that or die trying. And even though our phone conversations have drifted into bleh, I just want you to remember, when you're up in the Big Apple and falling asleep in the arms of some rich Jewish heiress who has lied about her age, that this goofily short and weird-looking, psychotic little girl, sitting on a dog hair-covered couch reading encyclopedias and listening carefully for tornado warning sirens, still loves you all the same. She's just that mentally unstable.

http://www.johnmaxfield.net This is the final entry of mine for 2004.

Thank you all- Off Broadway and those who came to Off Broadway. That was my favorite show ever. I've never had that much fun at a concert... Being as it is that I am (supposedly) an entertainer, though, I hope you all had a great time too. If you didn't make it- don't worry. We'll be back. We always come back. Playback was so right to make that one of their Critic's Picks- if not for me, for Circa, Tucker Booth, and Cat Jump- all three were unstoppable. Don't take my word for it though- I'm putting the WHOLE SHOW up on the site for people who signed the guestbook with their email address this year- consider it my holiday gift to you. Also note that I have been asked six times by sources I won't name to give out my now massive mailing list, and refuse to do so. Why would I punish my supporters? Are these people high? I digress...

So this is the last entry, but not the last update for 2004. Next year will mark my first national tour, two new CDs (a double album), and the launching of the long overdue Tantrum Niche website- amoung other things.

Stay with me everyone- it's just about to get REALLY interesting.

Thanks to all of you supportive people- namely fans, bandmates, venues, record stores, and press people who are kind enough to find what I do entertaining. Thanks to last Friday's audience for the standing ovation. On that note- I am finally at a loss for words.

http://www.johnmaxfield.net You all really need to come out and see the Off Broadway show. It's going to be excellent- Tucker Booth and Circa will be my supporting acts, both of which are easily worth the admission of $5. For a limited time, though- you can get tickets free from www.johnmaxfield.net.

So the other big news is that I signed a record deal with Avris on my birthday last Monday- November 22. It was my 22nd birthday, as anyone who saw the site that day must have noticed. :)

I am very excited about it. I'll be going on tour early next year to promote my three albums- (all of which are being re-issued!) as well as the next one, "Elevator," which spans two CDs.

By the end of the year I will have clips from some of the many home movies I have made of me and the band out doing our thing this year. I tried to find the least obscene clips of my late drummer, Eddie, which was truly a chore. When you all see the footage, though, you will be suprised that it gets worse... if you never met him.

Anyway- that's pretty much it for now. Order tickets while they are free, and thanks to ALL who came to, saw, downloaded, bought, cheered, danced to, played, drove, complimented, reviewed, published, signed, represented, distributed, sold, advertised, and inspired the likes of me and my band in 2004.

"Elevator" drops in 2005. Go to Off Broadway. End of message.

hunh... and I was so happy when you wrote that song about me. weird. :>

ok, so I officially DREAMED I signed your guestbook when I hadn't done so. yeah. not exactly Effie's secret wedding or Samuel Beckett in that bunny-suit. dude, my unconscious mind is frightful.

also, Zoki. despite our much-paraded love affair, and the fact that you're twice my height, I have to call you out on your #1 fan remark. as the president of the John Maxfield fan club, having been a member for nearly TWENTY YEARS, I officially outrank you. I apologize for the pain this information may cause, but I figure it best that you know now. feel free to fight my friend Sara for the #2 spot. (I think you've got a case over her.) :>

so how was the solo show?

http://www.johnmaxfield.net Sorry, dude- I can't tell you what DGK stands for, unfortunately. "DGK" is probably "TMI" anyway. By request, the band is rehearsing some of the new material for the shows this week and next week in Soulard and in Illinois.

Enjoy those demos while they last...

Hey John thanks for the tickets! Those new songs are AMAZING! Where the fuck did you learn how to play guitar like that? You must listen to a lot of Carols Santana. Can't wait for the show. you better play that blues song. What the hell does DGK stand for?

http://www.johnmaxfield.net I wanted to annouce that there has been a change to the running order of the new EP that is being released on November 5th. The remix of Blue Violets will not be included on the disc. It has been replaced with the song "DGK Blues." Why? Well, two reasons:

1.) Nobody has heard any version of "DGK Blues," and you all should. The original version of Blue Violets that is on the album "So Much Commotion" is superior in every way to the 'dance mix.' Regardless, I promise to put the remix of Blue Violets on the downloads page in the very near future. Realizing, also, that it is a blues song (which are characteristically predictable) it is still something new to you all from me.

2.) Shit happens, specifically- to me. This song (DGK Blues) was written and recorded earlier today, just before the new EP went into production. I didn't mean to write it, but sometimes songs need to be written to understand what it is that goes through our complicated minds on any given day of our complicated lives.

Thanks to everyone who posted recently, mostly those who didn't hit on me or force my curiosity into figuring out what the hell a blumpkin is. All I'm going to say about that is: eeeeew. Keep the emails coming about the free tickets- there are precious few left for our Soulard Hay Ride show.

Hope you're all as excited as I am about the new EP and the new shows with the new band... and the same damned hat.

See you all around.

sup son, glad to see the musical side of the clan is still rockin out. Have to say, I wouldn't mind one (or more of your albums), but they would have to be personalized- give me a ring one of these days so we can work it out and catch up.
Love the band name/icon- its money, baby.

http://www.johnmaxfield.net I forgot to say thanks to Eric for the kind words. Yes, I am from St. Louis. You probably haven't heard of me because most people have not, but I am glad someone had the good taste to reccomend me to you and you had the good taste to enjoy the free CD, of which there were several hundred- but you were the first to say anything in the guestbook about it! If you haven't noticed yet, I try and put up five to ten free songs on this site every week. You can also buy the CDs, but what is more important to me is that you listen to it, you like it, and you let others know about it... That goes for anyone else reading this, too. :)

http://www.johnmaxfield.net Hey there, my fellow John Maxfield. :)

I thought this name of ours was pretty unique, but it could be worse. Scroll down and notice that one of the frequent posters on this site is actually named Wil Smith- a good friend of mine. Hope you enjoyed your stay at the Bizzaro John Maxfield site- thanks for checking it out.

What's up man? My name is John Maxfield as well, and I am a musician too! Unfortunately my website isn't working so I can't give that to you.

The other day I put my (our) name into a search engine and came up with this. Some sort of parallel universe shizo I guess.

Well, keep up the good work.
