| Comments: | I found out I was pregnant in January 2010. I also had a hernia in my stomach. I work for a hospital and when I tried to see my ob of 12 years they said I had to see several doctors in the practice and a midwife. I was a first time mom and very nervous about the hernia. Dr. Barrere eased my worries and always made sure I was comfortable with his answer before I left his office. I am so glad I went to him. His staff always greeted you with a smile. Very happy with Dr. B and his staff.

Thank you for personally resending my prescription when I was in your office Monday. I was able to pick it up later that evening. I do have 2 other questions for you: 1. In your explanation of the condition you described to me regarding the uterine wall bleeding, I don't remember if you mentioned the type of bleeding that is common. Everytime I go to the bathroom, I am passsing large, very dark (almost black) blood clots. Is that normal? 2. Your office assistant insisted that I had to pay for a full office visit charge $40.00. I would have thought that my visit on Monday was a continuation of the visit in your office 2 weeks prior. For the 5 minutes we talked in your office, not examination room, I feel was information I could have gotten over the phone, thus not causing me lost work time. Is that your normal procedure & cost? | Comments: | I am so very grateful that Dr. B treats me with the same attitude, enthusiasm, respect and caring professionalism that he does everyone else in his practice in spite of my less than promising insurance. In some cases, to this day I've had to deal with poor bedside manner, unwillingness to do certain tests that seemed to be reserved for the 'other class' of patients an the hurried attempts to get in and get out as quickly as possible attitude. When I leave the office or finish a conversation with either staff or Dr. B, I feel like I've gotten my answers and have been taken care of properly and with enthusiasm. Thank you Dr. B and staff for this pleasant experience at all times. |

We enjoy the fact that we do not have to see 9 other doctors in a practice who do not know my situation, and his staff know us by first name! Although I was receiving medical attention through a clinic due to not having insurance, Dr. Barrere NEVER treated me, my noe husband, or my pregnancy like I was receiving any type of care but the best! He is a wonderful doctor and I'm so glad to have found you after all these years. Your success is gratifying to me and I would like to applaud you for always caring about your patients and their condition thoroughly. My first son, that you delivered by C-section, was born 4 weeks premature due to my pre-eclampsia. Dr. Barrere was an amazing OBGYN then, and I have had a very difficult time getting the same type of care over the last 12 years and 3 more births:) Thank you Dr. Barrere for caring and understanding your patients to the level you do. |
