This is me singing while Howlin' Wolf plays harp, a part of his harp lessons we recorded in 1968, which included 2 fresh songs, one by him (unlike anything he ever did on any record label, and in a very different style, an acoustic rocking country boogie) and this one, my song, but here just the last part where I was filling in (making it up on the spot) for the last 8 lyrics then yet unwritten for a song that was later recorded in 1985, as shown in the details of the URL.

Although I am not a musician, I grew up in Memphis. At that time 60's, 70's, there were blues concerts every weekend and we heard all the wonderful (or as we would say BUCK JUMPIN) music all the time. Howlin Wolf's voice was the center of that attraction. The movie Cadillac Records provided a small insight into these very talented Black Musician at a time when America had not reached it's current level of growth. | |
