Wow, this site is very interesting. I did not know that Floyd Council's name was part of Pink Floyd. And to know that his music, in part, influenced a group of white rockers across the waters is tremendous testatment to the Blues Legend and the influence of Blacks in the music industry. More power to the people. | |

Floyd "Dipper Boy" Council is one of the great bluesmen of his generation. His singing was beautiful. It was accented by his subtle, delicate and lovely guitar-style, which was perfectly suited to his vocals. He is the equal of his more famous friend--"Blind Boy" Fuller--and his extant recordings are well-beloved by thousands in America and in Europe. | |
