I visited the memorial site last week. The experience was "otherworldly", even for a 46 year old stay-at-home mother/music fan! I felt the true spirit of love and I do believe without a doubt, that the presence of Jimi, and all that he was in life; surrounding the memorial, it was in the air, in the wind, and in the sounds all around. No kidding, sounds like a silly notion, yet it is so true. I have not been the same since visiting the memorial. It will always be with me, in a most positive, profound way. Dear Sirs: I have been looking for the actual Seattle Times or Seattle PI full page articles about Jimi Hendrix'es funeral for a long time, but cannot find it. The newspapers themselves no longer have material from that time period. It would seem to me to be of great interest to all to have these articles and photos. I know particularly it was eloquently written and there were photos not seen elsewhere. The grave stone and memorial have a fender guitar picture, but its wrong.. the picture of the guitar should be a left hand strat or a right handed strat restrung and shown with the volume controls upside down which is how Sir Jimi would of played a lefty!
