Mance I would love to have met you and been able to hang out with you. No matter what roads I go down I always return to your music when I'm bangin' away on this old guitar. RIP, and thanks.

i just want to say, Thanks for still being supportive of my deceased grandfather Mance, I am one of his biggest fans of course, seeing that I am one of his granddaughters.
It makes me feel good inside to see and know that I am not the only person who still admires his outstanding and irreplaceable style of blues, and the historical trademark that he left on southern states, Thanks for allowing me the privilege to type this note.
Love Always, Earlene Lockett, Mance Lipscomb's Granddaughter....

Hey, Mance, just thought you ought to know I wrote that song-stealin' Bob Dylan and gave him a real tongue-lashing about ripping off "I'm Gonna Quit You, Baby." Sorry to see someone swiped that little vase with the change in it from your grave. Thanks for everything you've taught me.
