"All Respects to Charlie and his fellow Legendary 'Blues Brothers'-Son House, Blind Willie Johnson, the great Robert
Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Blind Blake, Blind Lemmon Jefferson, the incomparable Skip James, Howling Wolf, Willie
Brown, and All the Unknown great bluesmen and Women who grew
out of the Missisippi Delta and beyond, and if an Honours list were to be made - it would number in the 'thousands' both the famous and not so famous! HOWEVER, of them all Charlie is considered to be the GodFather of the Blues and in the company of his fellow Blues Titans - I'm sure they would all honour him as such"! Respects Charlie!

Charley Patton is the greatest bluesman of them all. Many of his songs are among the most beautiful I've ever heard. It seems he was a master of almost every style of music known in the south in his lifetime. But many of his best are genre-defying creations of his own visionary genius. I love his music more and more as I get older.
