Wow. I wish Daddy had an opportunity to hear your comments about him. I can see him smiling and holding great conversations with each of you. He was quite a man and a great father. Thanks Daddy for just being you.

Dear TBone, I thank you with all my heart for the gift that you brought and left us with. Your gift was huge and magnificent and a great inspiration to me an many others. What we play is only a reflection of what you and others have played with just a slight variation. We know that both your gift and ours come from The Creator and I sincerely thank him for giving you to us. May your soul be at peace with our Lord! Hope to see you in the Kingdom Of Heaven!

Thanks, Mr. Walker! Your smooth style of electric blues was an inspiration to all of us who followed in your footsteps. B.B. King, Chuck Berry, and so many more learned from you. Even undeserving guitar students like me listen to you play on through your recordings and long to play like "T-Bone". Your short life held more meaning than you will ever know.

When I was a kid about 4 years old, there was this guy who lived across the hall from us (a 4 family flat in Detroit) who I remember would have this wailing, screeching sound coming from behind his door. Ever so often he would come over and hold my brother and I and have dinner and drinks with my Mom and Dad. Soon we were told to call him 'Uncle T-Bone"...the rest is history. I never knew the magnitude of this man until I was maybe 15 years old when I found a picture of "Uncle T-bone" slinging a guitar behind his head while playing and asking my mother who was the man playing the guitar. Was I shocked to find out who the real "Uncle T-Bone" was....Rest in peace Uncle T...
