I am extremely picky when it comes to the look of my boys and they "hit the nail on the head" PERFECTION. I would and have recommended them to several people. They not only do a fabulous job, but they genuinely care about each and every animal that comes into their facility. If you are looking for a place for daycare, grooming, or any advice when it comes to that family member you hold dear to your heart then Ocean View Kennels is one place I would recommend you visit first. | Comments: | I just met with the people who run this kennel and let me just say that this place really cares about these dogs. All of the Animals were happy and well adjusted and talk about clean...the place was spotless. I decided to adopt a dog from them and i fell in love with a 2 year old pitbull named bryson! He is a great dog....and from what i understand i owe that to Lisa for the time and energy she put into him. I would recomend them to anyone who need's thier services. | Comments: | I have been a friend the family that owns the busniess for a long time before they got the kennel.. and when they told me that they were going into " the animal busniess " and getting a kennel.. it was perfect for them. It has been about 4 years since then and Ocean View Kennel has became a sucessful busniess with a steler reputation. Ocean View Kennel is a family busniess. At any time the owner, Marion, or one of her three children, Lisa, Georgey, and Darlene, will be working, The customers adore them and trust them compltey with there animal. Each one has dedicated there lives to helping animals and they cant help but form personal, close relationships with the customers and there animals. Since opening 4 years ago as a kennel they have expanded there busniess to include, doggy day care, airport animal services, grooming, and also a mass education certiificate program for the teaching of professional dog and cat grooming. I am taking the time to explain this to you because i feel that everyone should know how greeat these people are. Also, that if and when you decide to give them a try and drop your beloved animal off in there facility, that they will be 100% welcomed and safe. In this time of economic struggle, we need to support these small, family busniess and help to keep them going until better days. |

My fiance Ryan and I are so grateful to Ocean View for introducing us to our boy through their work with Mass PAWS, as well as the wonderful care and attention he gets at daycare every day. We also will never forget the extra special care they gave to our beloved Bella G. in her final days. She truly loved her time at Ocean View. | Comments: | My dog Layla stayed at the Oceanview kennel on September 13th and 14th while my husband and I had our wedding in Nahant. Lisa was so wonderful with Layla. Layla made a friend named Wally and Lisa even gave Layla special treatment. What made my day (other than my wedding) was she dressed Layla up in a dress on my wedding day and sent me a picture message of her. I don't know any kennel that would do that. I would not hesitate to leave Layla at the Oceanview Kennel again. I hope to get her back so she can see her friend Wally. Thanks for taking such good care of layla! |

| Comments: | We brought our dog Marley to Ocean View for his first ever overnight stay and we could not have been more pleased! Marley is a shelter dog and tends to be shy and nervous around new people for the first time. Lisa took care of him right away to make him feel comfortable and at home. When we picked up Marley he had clearly made friends and for the first time ever in a doggie day care-type situation DID NOT BOLT TO THE DOOR when we showed up. He was clearly happy, relaxed, and loved being there. It was the best part of the vacation knowing that he was not just "ok" but having a wonderful time. |

| Comments: | My fiance and I are getting married in September in Nahant, MA and need a place to board our 1 year old Miniature Pinscher Layla over our wedding weekend. We found oceanview kennel online and went by there today for an unannounced tour. We met Lisa and she was wonderful. The facility was so clean and didn't smell at all. The dogs looked like they were well taken care of and Lisa made us feel very comfortable. Layla seemed to like it as well : ) We were very nervous about boarding her at first but we will not hesitate in September to leave our Layla at the Oceanview kennel. |

Searching the internet and finding Oceanview Kennel, reading all the comments on this guestbook made up my mind I just had to find out for myself. And was I disappointed, ABSOULTELY NOT. I called and and spoke to George. He was very personable we had a lengthly conversation and his love for pets along with his staff was making my mind up more. Since I was visiting from Ohio I really needed to be sure my pet was going to be safe and loved and cared for as if it were home. Well when we arrived we were greated by George asked for a tour and I was very pleased to find he had a fantastic facility. While my dog was there I asked if they could give my dog a bath and clip this nails, which was no problem. 2 days later came when I had to pick up my dog it was so funny my dog didn't want to leave and I was thrilled he had such a good time with the staff but especially with all the other dogs. He really must of had a good time because he was pooped all the way home (we drove approx 10 hrs.) I highly recommend this kennel if you need a home away from home. This is the place to go and George, when I am back in the area Kasey will be back. And if anyone out there needs more assurance please do not hesitate to email me.....Hope |

| Comments: | To all of you at Ocean View, you rock! I have vistited the "pug" Lou several times with my daughter and friends and with my pug Minnie... Your place is clean and so full of love for the pets that stay there.. I was so happy to read in the Journal that Lou went home he deserved the happy ending he got.. in the mean time I had read the ongoing stories in the Journal about Lou and I cried each time, the thought of him being away from his family, yet I got there to bring him a Christmas present and could not believe how happy he seemed .. After looking around and visiting on my Saturday afternoon trips to see Lou I know why he was so happy... You guys are amazing, you truely love what you do and it shows in each in every pet you care for.. I recommend you to every pet owner I know of.. I am glad Lou went home but would have loved to cared for him if he didn't get that chance.. This is a happy ending.. His mom was in my prayers all along and I am glad god saw her through this trying time in her life.. I wish many years of health and happiess to Lou and his family.. and you at Ocean View.... there is a place in heaven for all you for all that you do for people .. you can tell it comes from your hearts.. people like you make the world a better place... thanks.. | Comments: | hi marion, didn't i tell you the kennel would get right up off the ground. i knew you when you were breeding afghans hounds, another time poodles, and then dobermans. i've seen you bring pups into the world and take good care of the moms. all the time caring for each and every pup. I saw the letters from the owners of the dogs to be bred with your males. they were sent from all over the u.s. and canada the thank you's were always 3 to 4 times in each letter. i've seen you deny the sale of a pup cause you didn't like the way the person treated the dog they already owned. you've always been the finest animal lover i've known. so why wouldn't the kennel be a success. also, you taught your kids the art of animal care since they were little tots. so thats a real plus. keep up the good work marion, people really need a kennel they can count on. otherwise their whole vacation,workday, or weekend. would be nothing but worry. My brother Guy has had his dog Ginger groomed and boarded with you and he recommended that I should bring Antonio there. He has always been pleased with how Ginger was treated. I was very concerned about leaving Antonio, but as soon as I met Lisa, Emily, Marian, and George, I knew Antonio was in good hands. Needlessly to say, I left Antonio feeling confident that he was in good hands. The results were fantastic. Antonio looked so handsome! Even his brother "Romeo" does not recognize him! When I had to leave Spike, my 5 year old Boston Terrier at a kennel for the first time ever, I was quite nervous. I went for a pop-in tour of the kennel first and found it incredibly clean. The staff really love the pets that they were watching. I was very confident having Spike stay at Ocean View. I was so happy to find that he did great and I can tell that he was extremely well cared for and had a great time. I would use Ocean View again in a heartbeat. |

Their knowledge of dogs, especially maltese, is outstanding. We learn something new everytime. | Comments: | I recently started bringing my 2 year old Dalmation to OVK and was so pleased with the care he recieved that my husband and I decided to bring our other dog (who has some anxiety issues) there as well. To everyone's amazement our Ibizan hound is doing beautifully. The "boys" go there to play once a week and they love it. The facility is spotless and odor free no matter when you go in. The family owned business includes several special individuals that are extremely dedicated to the care they give to all the animals entrusted to them. Lisa and Marion, in particular, know so well how to handle and care for our pets. We wish them all the best as their business grows. P.S. Brady and Dexter love you!! |
