Some of the earlier footage is not the greatest quality, but you must remember a lot of it is from the early '90s. Thanks for all you hard work, your outstanding effort is greatly appreciated. |

I respect Rich and Shelley, as well as everyone else who was involved in making these sets because of all the hard work that they put into it. Since I live in the States, it is hard as heck to find anything OLP, and so thanks to Rich and Shelley, I now know more about OLP than I ever thought possible. I have been a fan for about 4 years, really diehard for about 2 of those years, and I am just fascinated by the footage on the tapes. It is great finally being able to see all of their music videos, since before I had only seen SOT, Innocent, and One Man Army. There are also great interviews that give you more insight as to why the band has wrote the songs that they did and give you a real understanding as to what the band is all about. So thank you Rich and Shelley for letting me become a better OLP fan, and thank you for showing me even more reasons why I love the band and their music soooooo much!!!!

These are great tapes and I would highly reccomend them to any other Our Lady Peace fan in an instant! They were great and gave me a real sense of how the band came to be and they also had alot of extra footage I would have never seen otherwise. Thanks so much Rich and Shelley! | Comments: | First off, I'd like to commend you both on the enormous amount of work these tapes must have required of you. The quality is excellent for homemade VHS and they play beautifully in both my VCR's. I tried to envision the dedication and extensive research and collection of footage this compilation must have taken you and imagined long, long nights and lots of coffee. You obviously have been profoundly affected by this band, as have I, and have taken your admiration one step further by providing a much appreciated collection of film. Living in The States, it's hard to come across any footage of the band wahtsoever, except for a few brief glimpses (teases, really) on MTV and other music related channels. I'm so grateful to you both for allowing me to add another layer to my love for their music with the visual energy Our Lady Peace creates on stage, something I've never had the incredible oppurtunity to see in person or even on TV. The ferocious fury of Jeremy on the drums is exhilerating to watch, as is the unbridled passion with which, later on, Duncan and Mike attack the guitars. And of course, watching the waves of mood washing over Raine's face as he hits note after note with profound intent made me want to drown in the waters of his powerful lyrics with an even greater intensity than I feel upon hearing them audibly. I always knew there was honesty in his voice (and all the music) and seeing the looks on his face combined with the movements he makes proves this even more. I'm also in awe of their live performances you've given me the chance to view. Rather than jumping around on stage with nothing to prove but their egos (like most bands these days) every member of Our Lady Peace moves with a grace and intent that is rare to find in most performances, live or otherwise. Raine's unusual arm-thrusts and devilish skirmish in action reinforces the penetrating metrical tone to his lyrics all the more. Besides all this, it was particularly interesting to see the group doing interviews, sitting down and talking like regular guys, which is ironic because their music stands out so much above the rest. I got a glimpse of their individual personalities, which is, in a remote way, almost as important as the music they create. It was enlightening to find out that the geniuses behind the music are as inspiring as the music itself. I'd also like to add that I thought ending the second set with the video "Life" directly after the interview with Raine and Mike on their views about September 11th was a perfect conclusion to the two trilogies. This showed disaster and what they felt about it and then immediately the viewer is swung into a breath of hope-the song "Life". Corresponding an event that depicts a dark abandonment of themselves that humans have unfortunately perfected over time with a song that displays the complete opposite end of the spectrum while still demonstrating a vital point was, I think, genius in itself. By the way, the interview with Rick Campanelli where Raine proves he can spot fakes from a mile away and has no fear of telling them to his face what he thinks about them was, well, to be entirely honest, freaking hilarious. Anyone who is considering purchasing this compilation-DO IT! Rick and Shelley have helped me appreciate one of my favorite bands on a higher level than I ever thought possible. You're not just buying a collection of video, you're getting an intense visual experience that makes you fall in love with the band all over again. Plus, they have always given me prompt e-mail responses and the mailing time was far shorter than I expected. This collection is well worth the money and the time invested in watching it. I'm so glad I stumbled across this, and so grateful to you (Rich and Shelley) for making this available to those like myself who have limited access of footage of the band. Also, for those considering buying this, there's a song that isn't on any albums or rare CD's entitled "Out of Here", and even based on this song alone, the buy is well beyond worth it. Thanks again and take care.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Rich and Shelley's Compilation set is amazing!! I finally ordered it after putting it aside for months (big mistake!). If you are thinking of getting it, DO NOT hesitate. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Hats off to both Rich and Shelley for a job well done, not only on the compilation, but the website as well. I must check the site 4 or 5 times a day to get more news (I can't get enough OLP!) and it is ALAWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS updated! Once again, if you are thinking of getting the compilation sets (both are unbelievably amazing), do not set it aside as I did. Great job guys! |

Now 6 VHS tapes that include everything a fan could ever want- interviews, live performances, videos... and some great, rare, hard to find footage too! All well put together by 2 of the best fans out there- Rich and Shelley. If you're trying to decide if you should get the compilations- don't hesitate! Rich and Shelley are extremely friendly, honest, and and well known to all of the OLP fan base community. Their site itself reflects all their hard work and dedication that goes into everything OLP.
