I have had it now for 3 months and have successfully removed the left front fender, partially dismantled the engine and taken out the seats (No easy chore on the engine with limited tools.)and i am stuck. I dont know where to go for the floorboards. I like the Flintstones but not their braking systems. :) This is an awesome site. I do like the detail that you have displayed to show the work done on this car. How is the engine coming? I have a Kanter book and they have a rebuild kit for about 1100.00. Anyway the site is great! Keep up the good work!!

| Comments: | Hi! I can't seem to access your page, but reading the other people's comments in your guestbook is very interesting. I have a question for anyone out there that might have further info. Today, at a thrift store, I purchased a handbag that looked interesting to me. It was a bucket purse with a carpet bag type material on the outside, a wooden bottom, and a twist clasp closure with a donkey. Upon further inspection at home, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my $4.95 purchase was a COLLINS OF TEXAS BAG! Needless, to say, I am ecstatic. I was wondering if you could tell me how to find out the name of this bag. Every time I look at them on eBay the seller seems to know the name of the purse, and I don't see anything listed on my bag. There is a leather flap with a zippered pocket on the inside of the back of the purse with a small "Collins of Texas" and a horse. Also, any information that you might have on Enid Collins would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! |
