My home town is Kasukabe City in East Saitama. Kasukabe City has population of 240,000 and is 50 km. away from my university. It is easy to live in Kasukabe City so I like it. Kasukabe City holds many events and festivals. I get excited going to these festivals. Ibaraki is full of nature and I grew up there, so when I was child, I always played with friends outside. We couldnft go to the supermarket and convenience store, because there were not near. We enjoyed playing baseball, soccer, finding insects, so we could have a very good time. Then, my grandfatherfs house makes rice, so I help every year. This is a special experience! When I was a junior high school student, I belonged to the kendo club. I learned kendo since elementary school, so I could become a starting member in my first year of junior high school. Then, I got 2nd place in an individual city tournament! After that, I was recommended as the captain of our team, so I practiced very hard. We couldnft get good results, but this experience was a very good influence in my life. I think Kendo is a very good sport to understand the Japanese mind. I have two abilities. I like that area. Kurazukuri is also a company name of Japanese style confectionery. These confectioneries are very delicious. I love that companyfs confectioneries. Many people visit Kawagoe for sightseeing. There are many interesting things to see for tourists. Especially now Kawagoe is being broadcasted on an national t.v. morning drama.
