| Comments: | So I have had this dream of a young man that I know I have never met before in the waking world. He is a tall with wavey black hair that goes to his chin, green eyes and has brown skin. I have had dreams where he appears quite often but what is so strang is the last dream I had he grabbed my wrist and was pulling me through a vendors market like we were being chased by something. And when we finaly stopped running he had pulled us into a old building, I asked what we were running from and this is the part that frustrates me he cant seem to speak to me.
Its not like he is to embaressed but when ever he opens his mouth and starts to talk no words or sound ever escapes his lips. There is noise in my dreams but for some reason he can never makes sound in any dream. I want to know why he keeps appearing in my dreams it seems like he wants to tell me something, because he has tried a few times and seems frustrated because I can never hear him. Is there possibly another dreamer sharing the same dream with me? I can list the places we have even been if it will help. | Comments: | I have always been fascinated and amazed by dreams from a young age, and recently I've been becoming more and more interested in all the aspects of dreams. The whole Lucid crossroads thing deeply interests me, if such a thing is possible that is amazing and I would love to experience it. I have been able to lucid dream at will since I was about 5, which is my earliest memory of lucid dreaming, using DILD (of course I didn't know at the time,.) 13 years later and I keep a dream diary, (I have filled 3 books!) I am starting to try and remember patterns, etc, and its really very interesting and the kind of experiment anyone can do. I hope to see some of you on the crossroads sometime!

| Comments: | I have looked everywhere and asked everyone i know about a shared dream my family members and i are having.
My dad was killed in a car accident 12 years ago. Shortly after his death i began to dream about a three story house. THis house is big and beautiful. I live on the first floor, its warm and cozy and inviting, the second floor is a little intimidating. Its darker and the previous owners, apparently elderly couple, left all of their antique belonging, paperwork, clothes, everything. There are several secret passageways on this floor as well. The third floor is very scary, there is children s furniture up there, it is a small attic room with a big window. i do not go up there because it is so scary. ...............i never mentioned this dream to anyone, until 5 years later, i was having conversation with my mother and told her i was having a recurring dream, she mentioned she was also. we began to share stories and they were almost identical. Even down to the secret passage ways.....she had been having it for a few years.....years went by and mom got sick and my niece and i were taking care of her and i, still having the same dream, mentioned it to my niece, that i was having a recurring dream..she said she had been too for about a year. We compared notes, again, the same dream....my sister came home and we shared with her and again, my sister was also having the same dream. Even down to the children s attic room.....weird to say the least but it gets better.....my mother passed away in March 2011 and a few months later my 12 year old son came to me and said he was having a strange dream "all the time"....he said he had been having it for a few months, again, without me ever mentioning my dream to him at all, the same dream...down to the big window in the attic. Please give your opinion of this shared dream. Other than momma who passed in March, we are all still having this dream regularly. Thanks Barbara L |

Also i have had shared dreams for a very long time now and I am trying to find a new to my dreams person, i have these dreams where i live in a european town setting and I have an apartment there. It is above a bar of sorts that runs as a deli/coffee place during the day and a pub in the back at night. There is bookstore next door and i ride the bus to college. Everyone at school knows me and i have never seen them before, they always stand up and say welcome back when i enter the room... also another setting.. a hotel on a river,a pool downstair with a bar, i have a drink in hand but i never drink it and there is a long trail through the woods next to it that leads to an old castle on a cliff. there is a waterfall that runs off directly in front of the castle and a gentlemen guide i have never seen before informed me that what i thought was aligators in the lake were actually SALT WATER CROCODILES...
Also found myself in your third floor apartment fabric hanging all over the place.. mentioned using ORANGE ZEST AND CORRIANDER for something, woke up. Anyone know this?? |

| Comments: | I am a dreamer. I have "ask yourself, is this a dream?" tattooed across my wrists and it works wonders to clue me in that I'm dreaming. Last night I met another dreamer in my lucid dream. I'm hoping I might find him to see if this is a real phenomenon. It was probly a dream character but he seemed so much more real. Anyways, I realize I'm dreaming and run to my front door to explore outside and to my shock and surprise there's two guys standing at my door. I kicked one of the guys in the face and there was a big commotion, like, "whoa whoa hang on an second here" I aplogized and asked the man on the left what it felt like to be a character in my dream. Unlike any of the other dream characters I've met, this one acknowledged my question. He said something along the lines of "I would ask you the same question, havn't you heard about this?" Referring to shared dreaming, something I wasn't even aware of until I woke up and looked it up. I tried to tell him my name but I woke up just as I could get it out of my mouth. He kind of looked like the actor Thomas Haden Church. If you're out there dreamer, and you saw me in your dream, please contact me! |

I had a lucid dream experiance a few years back, I used to drink a lot back then and this happened while I was withdrawing from a severe alchohol spree.Firstly may I say that when one withdraws from drugs 'alchohol etc it's difficult to sleep with the sweats and things 'however the hours when you do sleep are filled with the strangest dreams, others withdrawing from the said above will vouch for this basicaly it's a known fact. It was on one of these particular occaisions that I suddenly in the dream became aware that I was actualy dreaming 'suddenly 'wham' just as others have described it I was dreaming and new that I was but I was still experiencing the dream I can't remember at what point it happened but it was daytime I was on a town street with a bar 'pub' opposite '(bars and public houses made a regular feature in my waking life back then so....)anyway after taking in my surroundings 'in shear disbelief'I entered the bar a modern 'one storey type of establishment it was deserted apart from myself I observed the opaque front coloured bar the shiny metalic bar top with the dispensing pumps ;drainage trays etc looking around saw tables chairs all neatly aranged also I must add at this point that the building in question was of a circular construction with the bar slightly opposite the entrance door now around the perimeter where also tables only higher than the ones in the centre of the room with the high stools against them but upon these tables were cards of some description about the size of a playing card and one card per table (I was trying at this point to focus my full awarness on everything that I looked at) I remember focusing upon one or two of the cards they had pictures printed on them and text but can't remember of what or what was written I just remember seeing a picture of some description and writing and that was that and the dream must at this point become just an ordinary dream or I may have woken up. However last night (28 Dec 10)I remember being in a dream location and veiwing some beautiful old cottages from the outside about four or five in a row one of them had it's door slightly open giving me an obscured view of a very old fashioned living room 'open fire, paintings, wallpaper even an old wash stand in front of the fire place with a china bowl and a mirror on top and also shaving equipment soap etc. As a gazed in before passing I noticed an old lady in the room with her back to me just partly out of sight and her curly grey hair. On awakening I thought of how I would love to return and become aware of dreaming at this location even exploring the inside of the cottage and after doing a little bit of research on line I found your website and have been reading it all day I think the 'crossroads' concept is a fantastic idea the Dojo does appeal as much of the drinking I used to do as now been replaced with jujitsu I 'must' make it there one day will let you know when I do. ps is Glad single. |

| Comments: | I am 16 years old and hoping to study parapsychologyI find the whole aspect of dreaming and possible other worlds fascinating. I keep a dream journal beside my bed, so if I wake from a dream I write it down asap. I first turned lucid about 2 months ago and now do it often. In one dream I was able to swim under water and breathe! and in another I was met by this glowing woman. She was really beautiful and showed me around this conservation place for animals..I know it sounds odd but I visit the conservation place often. I love flying too, and I also love the fact that the possibilities are endless when dreaming. Such a positive boost for the soul. Thanks for the site, the information is great!

| Comments: | i cant wait to sleep tonight and go search for the cross roads, im pretty confident i will find it, ill just fly up in the clouds like it says and look for the gap, speaking of which you know the dream what most people hate of falling! i do that on purpose, i just look up in the sky and alternately sort of step with my feet which pushes me upwards, i go up through the white of the clouds and through the black and somtimes there is like a rainbow colouring i fly through, then i just stop fly stepping and allow myself to fall, it really gets my heart going and it took a few attempts to go through with it but what an amazing feeling, when i finnaly managed to sleep through the whole thing untill i reached the bottom i didnt crash or hurt myself the last few inches slowed my speed to a gentle landing on my feet,,
i can fly differnt ways aswell, i seem to go through phases on how to fly, ive done the superman, i can swim through the air, i can step fly as mentioned but at the moment im being a bit lazy im more sailing through the air than flying and i do this buy lifting my shirt up from behind over my head to create a sail and just catch these made up winds, another of my favoutites is if im caught in a fight in a dream its like fighting under water thats when i become lucid and do kung fu,(lol) dont mess with me in my dreams mate im telling ya, id give bruce lee a run for his money,,lol. whatever you belive in your dreams or think about you can make it happen, for instance i can be looking at a fallimng tree and think that looks a bit like a monster and then it changes into a monster if i think im scared of it it will turn nasty if i like it it will smile and turn friendly, what i really want to do now is try to find somone else lucid, i did have this dream once i was flying about as you do when i see this young girl walking down a darkish wintery road, i flew down to talk to her and i asked her if she was dreaming or was she just in my dream and thinking about it she didnt look as confused by that question as most others do, i asked her if she could fly and she said she didnt know how so i said just jump off the floor but dont land back on it again, she tryed but failed so i asked her to hold onto my arm and i flew her about a bit,lol (this is crazy) the dream fades after that and it was a long time ago, was it you? probably not but hey who knows? maybe! i do have just one dream that i cant beat even when im lucid its been a reoccuring dream of mine for about 30 years, its an old house and it has a very eerie feeling to it down stairs, theres no furniture and it looks as if its been empty for a very long time, i see uncarperted stairs and at the top of the stairs there is a closed door, every step you climb a very scary presence is felf like pure evil or somthing like the devil, its a very bad spirit that feels you with more and more fear the nearer you get to the door, before i could lucid dream i could never get any further than about half way as it was just so frighting, but in a lucid dream i can gho all the way to the top of the door the fear factor is still there but i can think through it and the fear intences as i put my hand on the door handle but for all the lucidity in the world i still cant open that bloody door, any suggestions welcome any one, the feeling is so strong that no matter how much i try to belive its old granny knitting or somthing the evil still stays strong, maybe see ya at the cross roads eh, im gona try to hang out there later, ARE YOU DREAMING? | Comments: | wot a brilliant site, ive been lucid dreaming for about 16 years now and obviously love it, (who wouldnt)
flying is my favourite, when i was about 6/10 years old i would find myself flying aided by a sheet of wood and found it impossible to steer, i would crash into buildings and it wasnt that pleasant, my next flying dreams emerged when i was around 19/20 and then i became lucid, i steer my flights now with my eyes its so easy, were i look i go, i can do loop le loops and if i want to i can fly through buildings instead of going round or over them, i can tame the scariest looking beasts and turn them into loving animals that want to be stroked,lol reading this site has also helped me as i have this re occuuring dream that im at a large dinner table with strangers but they think im their family, i often ask them if they miss me when i leave to wake up in my bed but they always think im mad, i prove to them that i am dreaming but jumping off the floor and just hovering about 10 inches above the ground but this somtimes makes them think im jesus or somthing, ive told them that im going to wake up in my bed now and then i will return and want them to tell me if i disapeared or what happens but unfortunately i cant get back quick enough, im gonna start asking people if their dreaming now and telling them to lucid dream with me so keep ya ears open all those of you that cant quite manage it yet im gonna come looking for yas,,lol i love my dreams because unlike real life i can control absolutely everything love it, nite nite sweet dreams, DO YOU KNOW YOUR DREAMING? lol, |

| Comments: | There are woods near my home and from time to time I go for a walk there with my kids. Sometimes I would run into a very sweet neighbor who was walking her dogs. We always said hi to each other. One day she disappeared and I hadn't heard anything about her. Then I had a very vivid dream that I was walking in the woods and I saw her again with her dogs and asked her how she was doing. She said that she was okay but that she lived in the woods now. Then she frowned and disappeared. I was so upset by this dream that I decided to find out if she really was okay in real life. Her friends told me that she had passed away about a month ago. |

| Comments: | Hi there! This site is really interesting.
I decided to log on and find out more about lucid dreaming since having some funny dreams! The latest one was the most interesting.. I was dreaming and then suddenly became aware in the dream that I was dreaming!? My boyfriend was standing next to me so I shook him and said 'Look we're dreaming..wake up, lets go and explore' but he looked drunk and weary like he wasn't 'with it' I said 'Lets fly somewhere' but he said he didn't know how and then proceeded to get an instruction book from his pocket haha! He was trying to learn how to fly but I was trying to tell him you just do it!! So we stood at the end of a pier overlooking a huge lake as though we were ready to try but sadly, I woke up.. probably because I was getting annoyed at his lack of imagination and sense of fun LOL! I mean.. fancy getting an instructions book out! That's him in real life haha! Tks Helen |

For this research participants must be born in the United States, must be 18 years or older, and have been in an intimate relationship with the person with whom they experienced the Shared Dreaming. They must have a good memory of the experience, be willing to answer questionnaires regarding personality and experience, and be willing to share their experience of Shared Dreaming in detail. | Comments: | I had a weird dream the other day, right before new year's eve. Actually it wasn't wierd for me, it was just unusual, scary, and absolutely amazing. Before the dream, and sorta in the dream, I had finally made up my mind about a very important decision; I'm not sure whether or not I want to say what that decision was because it's a bit.. well, VERY personal. Well, anyway, later on in the dream I was with my friends and we were all having a good time in this pretty, sunny place when I get a call. Annoyed, I pull out my phone; it says it's from Philadelphia. I don't know anybody from Philadelphia but I have a lot of friends from other states after going to this international camp earlier this summer so I figured it could be one of them... I didn't think too much about how I didn't remember meeting anyone from there. Anyway I figured I should say hi cause I really love the friends I made there so I answer it. As soon as I heard her voice it was like I was on red alert I was almost lucid I was so aware. She told me "I think you should know what's going to happen in 2011". I knew it was extremely important and that this was not ordinary and that she was not living. Her voice was not exactly foreboding, but it wasn't a-matter-of-fact either, but I could feel what she was about to tell me, I knew what it had to do with but not what the message was; I knew I wasn't going to like this, I was scared shitless, stopped everything I was doing, it was like my heart stopped. I won't tell you what I knew it was about cause that's pretty personal, but I'll tell you it had to do with somebody very important to me whom I have not yet met in this life. "What?" I said horrified. She continued but I couldn't hear what she said because of the noise of people around me I asked her to repeat it and she did but I still couldn't hear her and so I asked again to repeat it but her answer was all staticy and I couldn't understand it. That's when I woke with fear in the middle of the night. I know it was important and I know I didn't create what she said at all, because I just... it felt so different, and I just knew. I think my fear caused her to break up, the static, because I was paralyzed with fear and hopelessness and I was maybe a bit too alert because of it. I'm worried but I'm so thankful too my friend's for helping me sort through my thoughts. I don't know what I can do about it yet but I will try to listen and control myself next time. Hopefully I will be able to do something about it. |

It states on your homepage that the Maya did not last long once the Spanish "got to them" The Maya, although depleted in large numbers, are STILL kikin... They dissapeared into the jungles, villages, and other areas... It made me said to hear someone who is very excited about the Maya Calendric Sciences to be so quick to make an assumption of such... Please for the sake of all Maya who live today in the lands you stated, (Honduras as well) and the ones who have migrated to to other lands, There is much more lasting besides their Calendar which they are beginning to share with the world.. please see http://www.themayas.com.mx/
