| Comments: | I agree, Kurds deserve their own country. But like most other countries the Kurds will probably have to fight for their freedom. If they are not willing to fight for what they want then don't expect the UK, France, China, Japan, or the U.S. to do the fighting for the Kurds. And remember what the Turks did to the Armenians. YOu don't want a Kurdish holacost. The Turks are about as liberal minded as the Nazis whom they supported in WWII. |

| Comments: | Sir - As much as an independent Kurdistan state makes sense, the United States, to say nothing of an impotent United Nations, hasn't the will to fight wars (real or political) the way we once did. The State Department is an entrenched bureaucracy that, somehow, must be broken up. Is anyone out there calling for any such realignment? Where do the Presidential "wannabees" stand? Oops! Sorry I asked. I already know the answer. |
