Always interested in sharing particularly with mid 60's folks. Helped train two groups in Logan Utah summer of '66, would be particularly interesting in contact from any of them. |

| Comments: | Hey, I forgot about this site till I received Derek's email to my old email address which is way below....from almost 2 years ago when i was just preparing to leave Asheville, nc in january 2004 for staging in miami....
Now, Agosto 31, I have been a pcv close to Sucre in Yotala, working with the university in the herbarium/botany projects, and also with my quechua neighbors. Currently I am trying to build a solar oven out of two cardboard boxes....anyone out there have any experience with this???? want to come down for a taller and help us make some papas del horno? So I am already thinking about my cos date in April 2006 and I have a lot of options.....I have been enchanted by the indigenous weavings produced around Sucre and also cosas artisanias de Santa Cruz.....i am thinking about an export/import crafts business....anyone out there have any experience with importing handmade textiles and crafts to the US? Well, thanks for reading this and I hope more pc people in Bolivia will post here occasionally and also when we cos....this has been and is such a rich experience.... margaret b-35 |
