I came across your work whilst joining the Lex/slash yahoo group. Also Sharon is a big fan of your work and so recommended you to me. I have to say I am very impressed thus far. I have read a great many slash fics and found them to be lacking in proper grammer, continuity and missing all logic. Terrible in other words. I realise that the work submitted is by amateurs, but I have to agree with your sentiments about the basic spelling and grammer. It's appalling and there is no excuse. I feel that the basics must be correct at least, even if the rest is plain awful. A lot of fic I have read is just bad and most simply can not write. However, it is all for fun and pleasure.People enjoy writing and sending in their work, even if it is terrible. You have a lot of talent and show a lot of promise. I am not into writing fic myself. My forte tends to be novels. I had one published ages ago,an erotic one, but it's sadly out of print and unavailiable. My mother had my copy she was so proud, if a little embarrassed, but since moving, she has misplaced it. I am currently working on a book called @Dark Times@ set partially in 1465 medieval France and in Modern times. It principally deals with past lives/reincarnation. I am now on the second draft and up to chapter nine. It is continually evolving and changing. I was thinking of writing a lex/clark hareem style fic at some point. I am very graphic and explicit, but I tend not to use crude words. Not that they disturb me, but I tend not to use them as I find them often unecessary to write hot sex scenes. My current book has sex scenes and my friends said they have been turned on by them, which is a good sign. Do write to me if you would like to. Yours Sincerely, Marion. XX |
