Scotland in 1997 and 98, where both our maternal and paternal roots lie. We fell in love with the country and the kin we met on the Isle of Lewis where our Mother's Father was born. He came to Canada at the age of 19 and never returned to Scotland. Your site brought tears to my eyes as I saw pictures of areas we had visited. What a gorgeous page and what a trip down memory lane. Sigh. I think Scotland is one of the most beautiful places on earth, with some of the loveliest people (OK, except for the 300-lb. drunk who sat on the hood of our rental car in Kelso, and left a big 3-ft. wide butt-size depression in it LOL -- but the Scottish constable was such a gentleman!) and I envy anyone who was born there!<br> I LOVE SCOTLAND!!!
