| Comments: | This is the first time I have visited the PFG website. Thank you Linda Darbyshire for continuing to recommend it when I have seen you. It's fantastic! So friendly and clear. I loved the articles to read and Sacred Space. I can't believe I haven't visited the site before. I've been involved with PFG's for years. First in Pakuranga, Auckland where we rarely managed to attend monthly get togethers yet belonging to the group made me feel like I belonged to the church. The group acknowledged and visited when we had new babies and my father died and rang us each month - this made me feel that someone cared. Since moving to Dannevirke we have been group coordinators and it has been us doing the ringing. The core of our group is strong and I love seeing the holy spirit at work and lives and love shared - it's awesome. It's so simple that it doesn't seem enough and yet it's value is obviously huge. |

| Comments: | I am writing to ask for urgent prayers for the Passionist Monastery in Daventry, England, where the Sisters, having suffered many hardships and a dearth of vocations over the past few years, have finally been forced to put their monastery on the open market today. Please pray for the two remaining sisters, Mother Regina and Sister Monica, and for Mother Catherine living in a nearby old people's home, and also that by some miracle a Catholic group might take over this monastery which has such strong spiritual connections with the great Passionist priest, Ignatius Spencer, great-great-great uncle of Princess Diana. We are staying at Ss John and Paul, the Generalate of the Passionists, and this morning remebered our PFG family at a beautiful Mass in the room in which St Paul of the Cross died. Jeff spoke of the enthusiasm St Paul of the Cross maintained, even through his struggles, and we thought with gratitude of 'our' people who give so generously of their time, talents and energy. | Comments: | Congrats for a great site.I was involved with the Karori Group which was No 5 for NZ. Now I am at Our Lady of Lourdes PN where we have four groups. Manurewa were great in helping start Karori so you are in my prayers for your restart. Parishes make sure you advertise this website in your Parish Newsletter. I learnt of it just an hour ago. 'A family for all' is a great motto. The best story I have heard is of there chaps turning saugages on a BBQ. (who knows how many saugages PFG have in a year) One chap said to the other I don't believe in God but I love being with this group. I am convince about low cost or now cost.
