The words to comfort you are harder to find, perhaps because there are none. Im attaching a lovely little prayer I found on the net. It's not about children lost by death - but it is about children. I'm a Mom too and I pray for all children, they are our HOPE, our JOY, and our future. I am so very sorry for the loss of Phillip, your beautiful boy.

| Comments: | I have been reading about the murder of your Phillip. I am so sorry for your loss and your pain. And I do know how it feels, because my 34 year old son was just murdered on January 28,2006....the day before my birthday. He also had two daughters. And he also was shot in the head. Only his wife (his daughter's stepmom) shot him at close range with a shotgun. She remains in jail on 3 counts of First Degree Murder, after 3 continuances in her trial. We still wait for justice to be served for our sweet Troy. I also have the story of his life and murder on my website.
You have done a very beautiful job in your memorial to Phillip. I know he must be proud of you for sharing his story and yours. May God Bless You All who miss him so very much. |

He was 27, we know we will see him again and that families can be together for eternity. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I pray that you continue to find the strength to endure from the "God of all comfort". As you said Philip will never be forgotten, for God promises "he will deliver the poor one crying for help, also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. He will feel sorry for the lowly one and the poor one, and the souls of the poor ones he will save.
