Paul, Paul, Paul,...
How thankful I've been of that faithful day to have crossed the hiking path with you on Mission Peak! Through your introduction to hiking and adventures into nature, lives have changed for the better for so many including mine. You've captured moments, emotions, beauties and friendships that will last one's life time, certainly mine!
Thank you for still hosting all of the pictures and memories ever since SVH was formed/born! Visiting your website and viewing all those fabulous pictures certainly inspire and motivate me to be .. back to hiking and nature.
Thank you also for still hosting the 'other misc.' pictures of the part of my life that I miss so much - helping others with friends.
You are 'DA MAN'!!!
Thanks dear friend!

Thiena asked (made) me to look at your website. Very nice - I've been to a few of these places but your pictures show it is different every time. Maybe I never saw these things before because I was trailrunning so that I can get back to eating. thiena is a bad girl.

Paul: I'm an "old" friend of Al, living in the Boston area. After reading his entertainingly lyrical Chinese email, I found your pictures and brief journal of the hike very enjoyable. Your sharing of the botanical knowledge as well as your camera technical information made this web site exceptionally unique. I appreciate the efforts of arranging a hiking trip and the showing of the pictures during the hikes. We enjoy very much the virtual tour with you guys and long for a similar hike in the future. Even the finale of the gastronomical treats were recorded faithfully. It's another attraction for us who are living in the East Coast may only dream of. We were at the Milpitas Square (another 99 Ranch) that Saturday evening before boarding, and thus can appreciate what it was about. Best wishes.

It was fun hiking on the Sanborn, unnamed trail. I think I have built up a muscle or two just moving those rocks! Thanks for sharing this adventure w/ me, Paul and Mei.

You have very impressive photo's. I think the quality of most of them would merit a calender. I would buy one. Infact landscape photos is the kind of calenders I hang in my office. It calms me down. I was most impressed by Toiyabi National park, and Monitor pass. I travel alot on my motorcycle and you have inspired me to visit that park. I have been through Monitor pass before but during the summer months. Keep up the good work.

I can't believe you posted ALL the pics from Moonlight hike up Mission Peak. Must have taken a while. Thanks for taking the time to do that and organizing the hikes.

Thanks for having me as part of the hiking group. Yes, that was the longest hike I've ever participated in! I really needed to rekindle the outdoor experience since I left Hawaii. I appreciated meeting and conversing with the members.

Hi Paul,

Didn't know about the post comment feature until Khanh Le pointed out to me. Any way, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for organizing yet another great hike. The Big Basin waterfall hike was better and more demanding than all the other ones we have tried so far and we have you to thank for making it happen.

Yes, we may whine and cry like children while we hike the 10 plus miles but that's only because our mortal bodies were badly reacting to the terrain. But just to let you know you are appreciated by everyone who has ever gone on one of your hiking excursions.

By the way, I would like to pay you back for parking and camera and film processing. Will take care of it the next time I see you.

Warmest Regards,
Arthur
