昆蟲屋免費給市民參觀 (大埔)
昆蟲屋佔地二百五十平方米，展出逾一百三十個昆蟲標本及模型，展品為香港及世界各地常見的五大類昆蟲，分別是甲蟲、蠅虻、椿象、胡蜂及蝶和蛾。 為了增進參觀者對昆蟲的認識，昆蟲屋設有多塊資料詳盡的展板，深入淺出地介紹昆蟲的年表、昆蟲的朋友和親族。而有關昆蟲學家以及昆蟲與人類在日常生活上包括食糧、健康、休憩和娛樂，以及神話和藝術上各方面的關係亦有所介紹。 參觀者更可透過觀賞錄影帶，認識史前時期的昆蟲世界。此外，他們亦可透過極富趣味性的亙動電腦遊戲，親身「採蝶」及設計一隻自己喜愛的新昆蟲；亦可參與問答展板，測試一下自己對昆蟲的認知程度。 昆蟲屋每日開放時間為上午八時至下午七時，免費入場。每日均設有四節導賞服務，每次可接待三十至五十人，歡迎學校及團體預約申請。 前往昆蟲屋可乘坐九巴７１Ｋ、７２Ａ、７３、７３Ｘ、７５Ｘ、２７１及２７１Ｓ，亦可在大埔墟火車站步行二十分鐘，即可到達。 查詢請電二六六四 二一○七。 | |
