| Comments: | My kids and I have become fascinated by the
pufflings "plight" every August in Heimaey. We are planning a trip to witness and even help rescue some baby puffins in the next couple of years. Here are some questions my seven-year-old son would like answered: 1. Would we need to learn the Islandic language? 2. What part of August would we need to schedule our trip for in order to witness the pufflings first flight? 3. What type of money do they use? 4. Could we fly straight to the island of Heimaey or would we need to land in Iceland first? 5. Are there any special laws that we need to be aware of? 6. Where would you reccomend we stay for lodging?
