| text: | Hello, Pastor Sam and all our friends at the Partridge Community Church. I agree with Donna S. Waddle that it's so wonderful to see the church flourishing, when so many small country churches have floundered. Pastor Pam Tinnen once wrote inthe Messenger about the folding of such a church in Turon, as I remember, and how sad it was to see the elderly in the back pews who had started the church, seeing its demise. [Some Partridge members had driven there to see if there was furniture which could be used by the church.] Keep up the good spirit! And thank you for the 80th Anniversary Celebratoin Sunday with delicious luncheon. I enjoyed visiting and drying dishes in the kitchen afterward. - |
