my mother was Wanda Melviline Dilly, her father was (Columbus Jarrett Dilly- B. 12 Aug 1898) great grandfather ( Albert Sidney Dilly) 3rd Isacc Dilly, 4th Christan Dilly, 5th Johannes Dilly. So I was telling my husband about a story of a pirate relative I had... named Ichabod Dilley. My Great Uncle John (Dilley)did family research to find him. My husband thought I should type in the name to see what I would get. And here I am! The other interesting thing was you mentioned John and Sarah Dilley. If they are the same people, then they would be my Great Great Grandparents. Weird. My mom is on the Dilley side. One more. I noticed you live in Kansas (or did). My mom, Connie Dilley was raised there for a while with her mom Elenore, and Dad, Murray Dilley. He was in the Army Air Corps. This Dilley side was big into being in military, West Point, all that. I have lots of research on him. If any of this sounds familiar, would love to get a note back. Everything on your page sounds too familiar to pass up dropping a note. Sincerely, Kim |
