| Comments: | As a firefighter volunteering at the site in the days after the attack, I want to thank everyone who stood for hours out on the streets of NYC waving flags and thanking us. The show of support was an amazing site. And it played a critical role in the morale and mental well being of those of us working at the site.
To all those involved, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your show of support. -Ryan |

| Comments: | I was a rescue worker/nurse at Ground Zero for those long 9 months. It nearly broke me.
A moment which remains clearly in my mind was walking exhausted up the West Side Highway and bumping unexpectedly into all the crowds along the roadside. I just quietly burst into tears and I still do to this day thinking about it. Thankyou for being there for everyone. It helped me think about the goodness in the world and it helped me heal. |

I think Barbie was wearing a tiara at time which I found absolutely great. Kudos to you and the rest of the Point Thank You group and your enduring efforts thru-out the relief and recovery period. I am so impressed by this website you have obviously worked so hard at maintaining and I know I share these feelings with others. I feel honored to have been on the West Side Highway in the company of you and all the other fine people. Keep the faith and the spirit...it's contagious!

| Comments: | I was with a group of police officers who responded from my department to assist following the WTC attacks. I'll never forget my amazement at seeing the citizens cheering as we finished my first 12 hour shift at ground zero, it was 04:30. I know it sure helped me put things back in perspective.
I'm sure your efforts during those dark times helped reinforce a lot of officers that were having real problems coping and wondering if their efforts were worthwhile and forgotten by the people they have sworn to protect. Thanks for being there and for your support. |

I am very grateful that we were able to assist in the recovery of victim's at ground zero, and assist with other Police duties to give NYPD Officers a bit of a rest. It is an experience I will never forget. All of the civilian support and caring was very appreciated and touched all of our hearts. Seeing everyone along the streets, with signs and cheers, humbled all of us. Thanks to all of you...... Lee Martin |

And my life is forever enriched by meeting and getting to know the good folks who tried the best we could to let our heroes know how much we appreciate them. Working in banking and finance we suffered tremendously from this brutal attack in NYC. Our bank has made generous donations and contributions. We are all grateful to the job that the NYPD and Officer Kevin O'Donnell and the NYFD have done in proving that terrorism in its most vicious form can never WIN! Im in Atlanta and all of us here send our prayers and thought to all of NYC and the survivors of this horrific attack. Officer Kevin O'Donnell especially gets a kudos from our office here. Keeping us updated as to the progress and how we can continue to help our good friends there! |

I want to thank you for your efforts, your inspirational signs and for never forgetting. My brother, Capt. Let me tell you that, having been a volunteer at Ground Zero and first walking past you guys and since then, driving past you guys really means a lot. It's confirmation that the victims, the rescuers and the work being done is appreciated and respected... I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sincerely, Jane Ill |

| Comments: | Dear Point Thank You Gang,
I volunteered with the Am. Red Cross for three weeks last Fall (Oct.-Nov.) and walked to Point Thank you one evening on the way to work at Ground Zero. I met Clare, Diane, Fred and Bridget & Jim Cagney while we froze waving signs and flags with them. I had an hour and a half before work. It was just as enjoyable as working with the Recovery workers at the WTC site. And I really liked meeting everyone. I sent them all Christmas cards but have only heard back from Fred and the Cagney's. This weekend on April 6 I am returning with my family to show them where I worked and to see the Beams of Light. We will only have the day(by train) but I told my son, Nick, who just turned age 13,we might be able to find you folks again to cheer with them awhile. He can't wait to help out! Are you still at West & Christopher Streets? What hours? 24??? :D Try to respond to me before Saturday. I got some terrific photos while I was there. Enjoyed looking at your album on the web. Sincerely, Mary Beth Delarm Hope to see you soon! |

Thanks again for the support you and the other 'NUTS' give to everyone involved in the Rescue and Recovery efforts. Your presence on Hero Highway day and night is greatly appreciated. And I'm glad you liked our drive-by, I mean drive-thru, on Wednesday night. Next time, when I drive, if I ever get the chance, make sure John is there! We were bringing some officers from Harrison County, Tx, down to Ground Zero. They were both touched by the presence of the people on Point Thank You. There you guys go again, making great impressions to the rest of the world! See you on the beat. |
