| entry: | Hi! I was browsing for Nursing ceu courses on addiction. I am applying for a job at a state funded alcohol and drug treatment center. There is a detox devision associated with it. So, I want to get some structured focus, from a nursing perspective. I must say that this site radiates such a healing lite and caring non-judgemental point of view, on a deadly disease, and that there truely is a way out, for the individual who realizes that he/she has no control over their use of a substance and it's killing them. I am an educator in California, and have had requests from our facility CNA's to do on-line study. I contacted DHS and their position is very clear that CNA's are unable to participate in home study. This is important for California CNA's are aware that DHS will NOT accept hours earned in this manner. |
