We put together a scrapbook of all the things we learned and sent it to him. I found out that he actually has the scrapbook in Russia with him and uses it for inspiration. I think that is the coolest thing ever. Anyway, I love this site and visit it often.

Everyone more or less knows his health problems and i'm scared for him too and in a way i dont want him to go because we dont know what's going to happen but at the same time i want him to live his dream and see that bright big smile and sense of accomplishment on his face when he steps off the spaceship when he comes home to us. I dont think he'll forget that his fans are here waiting for him and everyone that loves and cares about him. So once he comes back hopefully everyone will have waited and be prepared for when the guys make a comeback in a major way. Candy 16th May 2002 - 11:01:10 PM i just wanted to say that i think it's awesome lance is getting to fulfill his dream of going into space. i have to admit that at first i wasn't sure what to think, because i'm not totally in support of civillians going into space, because i do feel that it's still rather unexplored, and we need to give science a few more years. however, what lance want's to do isn't just some whim idea that he thought of once he was rich and famous. from what he's said this is something he's always wanted to do...the guy has even been to space camp (which is tons of fun!), so obviously this is a real dream of his, and since that's the case...more power to him! i hope that everything works out, that he is able to go, and has a successful mission, and brings back memories that will last for the rest of his life!

Just the thought of that voice makes me tremble. That deep, rich bass voice is so calming when I'm upset. Usually. In this case, it's not. I'm so scared for you now. Alright sorry for that one. I've often thought that the mold had been broken when God made You, James Lance Bass. You are the sweetest and most considerate man I have ever wanted to know in my entire life. I can certainly remember a time, not very long ago, when I'd thought of nothing else. Yes, I loved you dearly. Well, as dearly as you can love a mega-famous "Male Vocal Group" superstar. Unlike most teenage girls with their fevered crushes for you guys, I never went around with the idea in my head that by some miracle from God, I'd ever actually be with you. And now that I've gotten older, I still don't. Miracles do happen, but it would be foolish of me to believe that one could happen between You and I. However, I did have to admit to myself, the more I got to know the "real person" behind the celebrity, the more I'd fallen head-over-heels in love with you. Totally and completely. At least I thought I loved you, but you had to break my heart for me to know what true love really was. Wanting to be with you is like trying to touch a star. I stopped sending you cards with poems about your scrumptious buns, and never again would I ask you how's "The Bus". I still haven't revealed what "The Bus" really means, and I most likely never will. It has however been written on all of your cards and gifts through out the years, not that I expect you to remember. I have done everything I could to not notice you were real. Hearing that you had the opportunity to go into space, I had to stop trying to avoid you. So here I am, suppoeting you in any, and everyway possible. I may not get to see you as often as I like. I may not get to hold you in my arms. But deep in my heart I truly know, You are the one that I love, and I can't let you go. You can close your eyes to things you don't want to see, but you can't close your heart to the things you don't want to feel. I've learned that the hard way, and I have found that once you love, you cannot take it back, cannot undo it. If you could Love me for just one second, I would make that second last a lifetime. You hold my soul's serenity in the palm of your hand Lance, so I ask you please, treat it with care and gentleness. When loving someone, never regret what you do. Only regret what you didn't do. Speaking of which, I just saw that special thing they're doing with the Pop Odyssey concert in the theatre, because Akron (Ohio, that is) is one of the test areas. That surprised me cause you know what usually happens in Akron? Nothing! It's basically the video that just came out in a movie theatre with a dancefloor, a light show like a concert and even dry ice! There's some extra footage thrown in too - like an interview with our Basstronaut in a black wifebeater lookin mighty, mighty fine! I'm hoping like hell that is part of the "extra footage" on the DVD! Anyhoo, If it goes to more cities and you get a chance to see it, I really recommend it. Keep up the great work. Cheers!
