| Comments: | There's been some new development in Charlie's health.
The following is an update that I posted to Charlie's carepage yesterday: Today we went to Charlie's oncologist. His doctor told us that he is facing another stem cell transplant in as little as 3-6 months (maybe sooner if his platelets drop even lower). Chromosome 3 and chromosome 21 switched places. Charlie's nurse practitioner first reported to us that one was missing, but this was not a clear explanation of what really was happening. Also, in the last updates I told you that he did not have MDS disease which is accurate, but the doctor talked today about a type of MDS syndrome that he does have. Now Charlie's doctor is looking for a compatible stem cell donor. His sisters were tested last year because we thought that it was going to be needed. We were not told if they were matches or not. We should find that out any day now. Charlie is being weaned off the steroids right now because if they were working his platelet count would have been 100 or more by now. Supposedly, the steroids would have worked if he would have had an auto-immune problem. For now we have to look for signs of lowered platelets like easy bleeding or bruising. His blood count will be taken once a week. Charlie's doctor wants to have everything in place and ready to go if a stem cell transplant would be needed. If he has to have another transplant it would not have the intensive chemo that he previously had. His doctor also wants to act before the body goes into lymphoma again which would require him to have many rounds of chemo again and then the tranplant. Charlie's condition can not get better on it's own. The doctor's solution to this is a stem cell transplant. A better solution is for the Lord to perform a miracle in Charlie's body. My Mom just finished her second chemo treatment yesterday. The good news about her is that her cancer cell count has dropped by over 1000. She is still facing at least one more chemo treatment and major surgery around Thanksgiving. Saturday, I will be flying to Louisiana to spend 10 days with my parents. We are a bit shaken about this new development with Charlie, but God is good and knows what HE is doing. I know that HE will bring comfort to us. Though I was at ROA for a short time... I would of graduated in 1980 (I was at ROA '78 - '79) however, the family moved from Algiers to Atlanta my senior year. I graduated from Ga. Tech. with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (take that mr. Woolbrook.. RIP.. I failed Geometry TWICE with him) Did the engineering thing for a while. Got bored. Lived in Colorado as a ski bum. Moved back to Atlanta. Been in bands, owned a few bars, worked for Jaguar USA, restored Vintage British Motorcycles. And now I am an Erotic Art Photographer. I have shown my artwork all over the US and have had gallery showings as well in London, Amsterdam, and Berlin. | Comments: | It's been a year since Charlie was diagnosed with Stage 4 mantle cell lymphoma. The disease went into remission in March 2008 and so far has not come back. Charlie underwent a stem cell transplant in July 2008. Engraftment of his own previously harvested stem cells took a lot longer than normal to occur. Charlie was literally staying alive because of blood transfusions. Only one month after being discharged from the hospital Charlie was able to go back to work. He still is doing well and for this we praise God. Thanks to all that emailed us and also for those of you that prayed. There is a chance that lymphoma may not ever come back. |

I just wanted to take a moment to THANK ALL OF YOU for your thoughts and prayers for my granddaughter Holly. I received so many notes and E-mails from so many of you and I sincerely appreciated everyone of them. Queen Holly (as the nurses in the NICU referred to her) is now 5 lbs 3 oz and is on her way home from the hospital as I write this. Amazing to think that just 3 short weeks ago doctors told us that she would not make it through the night due to going into septic shock after her last surgery. NEVER LOSE FAITH!!! |

In 2003 my wife and I divorced and I moved to Chalmette to be closer to work. A few months went by and I met a Beautiful young lady and we began dating. One afternnon at lunch we began talking about our pasts and the subject of high school came up. The rest of the conversation went like this........... Her: Where did you go to school? Me: River Oaks Academy! Her: Really ?! I went there for a year because my parents Couldn't get me into any other private schools when we moved here. Me: What year were you there? Her: 1982 Me: I was there in '82. In fact that's the year I graduated. I don't remember you from there. Her: Let's see, I was in .......5th grade then. Chris (1985) and I just moved again, this time to Lakeview. Repairing our flooded house in Jesuit Bend wasn't enough for us so we had to do it again. Our sons both attend Jesuit High School, Ethan (16) will be a junior next year, and Stefan (14) will be a freshman. Ethan is quarterback for the football team for the 2nd year and is shortstop for baseball. Stefan is also a talented athlete playing football and travel baseball, but we have yet to see what positions he develops. Chris recently left his job as District Mgr. for Coca Cola for the same position at Frito Lay, amd I am working on finishing this house! We are enjoying being closer to work, school (and games!) and all the things we love about New Orleans and would love to hear from old friends!! -Sherrie |

My husband Tim and I moved to Texas the day after he graduated from KU Pharmacy school in 1989. I've been married for 20 years with 2 sons: Tyler who is a Junior and is looking to go to LSU after he graduates high school and Tanner who will be a freshman next year. My brother Jeff lives in Baton Rouge and my parents, after 5 years of Kansas weather, moved back to Covington where they are still residing. Tyler is drum major at his highschool and Tim and I are HUGE band booster members, so we are constantly busy. Diane is a Principal of an elementary school with Jefferson Parish. I am still working at "The Stink Plant". One of our fellow ROA grads informed me of this web site so I thought I would sign in. I haven't had time to read through all of the comments from everyone (quite a few). I do remember many of the names and faces as I read through this. I'm doing well. Graduated from Nicholls State, married for 16 years, one 3 year old daughter. I'm in the information technology field with Alcoa, Inc. for 17 years. Living just outside of Knoxville Tennessee. For some of you who graduated in 75, you may remember by brothers David and Dale who were twins. I'm very sad to say, both my brothers have passed away. David, just recently 30 days ago. He has a loving and faithful wife and two daughters. One a senior in high school, the other a freshman in high school. His wife and daughters are in Denham Springs, La. Since my last input here I’ve had a few life changes. I’m now the proud daddy of a great little boy named Evan, he’s 20 months old and is keeping his mommy and I very busy. I’m now retired from the military, 22 years with the Air Force….enlisted when I was still in River Oaks, rose up the ranks and retired as a Major….I’m another one of Mr. AV Cousins successes! Did a tour in Iraq, I came back in one piece. Did some soul searching when I got back and decided that I would do enough time at rank to retire and then “pull the rip cords”. Plus with little Evan here there is no way I could ever leave him for another extended stay in the sand box. I now work for the Navy as a civilian project manager at the Air Station here in Belle Chasse. Great Job, close to home…..and most importantly, very little stress! I still live down in Jesuit Bend across the street from Melanie (Morvant) Hinkel, I still pal around with Ben Becnel, still see Kathy Roundtree since she and my wife are good friends, Tara (Yundt) Means lives a few streets over from us. Reuben Alfortish lives next door to my in-laws in Hammond. See Todd Epply and Vincent Protti from time to time as well. I love it down here in Jesuit bend but I still have to pass the location of our alma mater, it is sad to see the place knowing that 20-30 years ago that we were having some of the best times of our lives on that campus. The lights are still up on the creosote poles where football field used to be! Sad. I still have a River Oaks Basketball Practice tank top that I refuse to discard, even fetched it out the goodwill bag when my wife wanted to dispose of it a few years back! For fun I do a lot of fishing in the Lake Hermitage area where my brother Vic (ROA 1975) and I have our fishing camp…..home away from home! Can’t wait till Evan gets old enough to enjoy this with me. On December 11, 2007, Charlie was diagnosed with Stage IV Mantle Cell Lymphoma (an aggressive and stubborn type with shortest survival rate of all lymphomas). I have been married for 22 years to Anabelle Garcia and have three children - Ana Cristina 19, Victoria 17, and Benjamin 14. I am serving as a campus minister with an organization called Chi Alpha Campus Ministry and have been on campus at UL - Lafayette for over 20 years. Not what I thought I would be doing - especially back at River Oaks - it is just proof that God has a sense of humor! After high school I attended Nicholls State in Thibodaux - graduated and went to Grad school - it was at Nicholls that I had a major life change - I made a decision to become a follower of the person and claims of Jesus and the rest has been quite a journey! Well, I retired from teaching 6 years ago and ended my career teaching Home Economics at Destrehan High School. My last several years were more hetic as I became "the teacher helping other teachers" to become better in the classroom. Many seminars, lectures, and observations later I burned myself out on all the running and retired. I have been married to Scott Lukes, a Destrehan High School graduate, for 17 1/2 years and we have three children and one grand-princess, Elle Ann Lukes. John Allard, named after my dad, lives in Youngsville near us and works for Pitney Bowes, Mallory Ann lives in Lafayette and is a school teacher, no surprise there, and our youngest is at Southeastern and about to graduate. Elle is three and I watch her every morning and bring her to her first year of day school. I am a very lucky person in my life. My mom and dad live 2 blocks from us and I see them at least 5 times a day. They moved here after Katrina when their home was destroyed by Katrina (many trees fell into it)and simply needed to get closer to me and my sisters. Please keep this wonderful dialog from all the "Panthers" going. I am on the phone with Beleta Shambra Bischoff she can't wait to fill her in on this site. |

I'm living in Kiln, MS about 2 minutes from Mary Ann Pecoraro. I have one son, Blake, who is 19 and attending MSU. I had a massive heart attack in 12/06 which made me realize, once again, how important friends and family are. I spent a month in ICU on a ventilator and came out thankful that my friends from ROA were there giving me the strength to get thru it. I love you all!!!! Now......I'M READY FOR A ROA PARTY!!!! Nikki Naquin (lived across the street from David Cucchia) and I got married and had I son, Thomas. He's 11 now. We ended up in Pelham, AL after a few moves and I now work for Southern Company. In 1999, we found out Nikki had breast cancer and in 2000 it had metastized to brain cancer. I haven't remarried. It's just Thomas and me. In 2001 I rec'd my MBA from UAB (here in B'ham). I'm done with school...I think...for now.
I still, occasionally, talk to Richard V. and recently found Rob Peters, who lives in Houston now. My Mom recently moved from Terrytown to Mobile, AL because of Katrina; a company move. But at least she's a little closet to visit. I enjoy working on my house, playing with Thomas, watching Barons baseball games, watching Thomas's baseball games, etc. There's a big state park very near that we visit often and hike or ride bikes. Heider, a former Tulane University athlete and St. Bernard Parish coach, died Friday at Slidell Memorial Hospital. He was 80 years old. Mr. Heider was born in New Orleans and lived in Slidell for the past 18 years. He attended Holy Cross and S.J. Peters high schools, and played football, baseball, basketball and track. He earned many honors in high school sports, including all-district, all-state and all-Southern distinctions. At Tulane, Mr. Heider played baseball and football alongside such Tulane sports notables as Eddie Price and Bennie Ellender. Mr. Heider later received a master's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a lieutenant colonel in the Army Medical Corps during the Korean War, where he received the Combat Medic Badge, and was a member of the Louisiana National Guard. Mr. Heider began coaching football, basketball and track at St. Bernard High School in 1957 and was named Louisiana coach of the year at least once in all three sports before he left that position in 1966. Mr. Heider then served as director of the St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department until 1976. He has been inducted into the St. Bernard Parish Sports Hall of Fame, and in 2003, the St. Bernard High School football stadium was renamed Ed Heider Stadium. Mr. Heider was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and WeDK. He was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, where he was a lector for several years. He is survived by his wife, Thais O'Neil Heider; two sons, William and Ronald Heider; three daughters, Thais Wahl, Kimberly Custer and Catherine Ringer; and 10 grandchildren. | Comments: | The asterisks next to my graduation date means that I attended River Oaks and would have graduated that year, but my family was transferred from Louisiana to Oklahoma City in February 1979. I was fortunate to see the 1978 Panthers football team finish with a 7-3 record, which included a tough loss to John Curtis and future NFLer Reggie Dupard. Blake Eloi, Lloyd Caruso, Bobby Minton ... I had classes with several of those big boys. I indeed have fond memories from my short time at ROA.
I am currently the assistant sports editor for The Oklahoman newspaper in Oklahoma City. I've been in sports journalism for 25 years. My brother, Jeff, who played on the very first junior high football team at ROA, lives in Phoenix, Ariz. He is a vice president for the Harlem Globetrotters. I married, divorced, then found my soulmate but lost Kirk April 9, 2007. I have 1 daughter, Trisha (25), and 2 grandsons (Joshua & Conner). I worked with the government, as an EMT, and now I groom dogs at Petsmart in Harvey. I am still animal crazy which helps in my job alot.
I often think about the good times at ROA especially the pep rallies and the band marching to the football field for the games. I loved being a majorette and playing the flute, there sure were some great times in the bandroom. I have sadly watched the old school fall apart as Kirk and I often went fishing down that way. I have been married 16 years to my wife Jill and we have a beautiful pair of boy/girl twins, Nicholas and Noel. They are 9 years old and heading into the 4th grade next year. Jill and I enjoy traveling and took Nick and Noel to Panama City, Panama for Christmas 2006. We had a great family vacation which was adventurous and enjoyable for us all. I've worked for AT&T (the original) since 1987 and graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a BS in Computer Science. We have lived in Niceville, yes Niceville... FL for four years and enjoy living on the coast except when Hurricanes pop up. I love deep sea fishing and enjoy going offshore fishing any chance I get. | Comments: | Hello to all of our past ROA friends. Basic lowdown is that I am married for 29 years, 2 great boys, Jason (26) and Joshua (16). I have my degee from SLU in Hammond in Computer Science. Work for DHL for 26 years now, meaning I have been thru 3 mergers and alway made the cut. Met my wife, Pattie, at SLU.
Well with 2 boys who play sports just as I did, I really miss the high school days. My oldest, Jason, played football for Riverside Academy in Reserve. This was a small school just like ROA. He was an offensive lineman, played in the Super Dome Classic for a Class 2A State Championship in 1998. My youngest, Josh, goes to one of old enemeies, St. Charles Catholic. He is also an offensive lineman. In his first year playing as a freshman, SCC went to the State Championship game in CLass 2A, in Shreveport, LA., this was the Katrina year. Then in his 10th grade year, which is now, one of the senior lineman got hurt in the beginning practice, so they called on Josh to start. Well, he did great and also SCC went to the Super Dome this past year, 2006 to play for the second year in a row for the Class 2A State Championship. What sucks is that both years they had to play John Curtis. But I told him as least you got there 2 years in a row. And you will be a 3 year letterman in football. He also qualified for the the state power lifting meet where he finished 6th in the state in class 2A. He is also at this time the strongest kid on the football team. I am really proud of both my boys. Now for me I did alot of coaching for both of them thru the years. Coached Jason in biddy basketball and our team won the River Parish League 2 years in a row. Coach summer baseball when Josh was playing and coached the middle school team at Ascension of Our Lord School for 4 years. Of the 4 years we won the River Parish Catholic League 2 years. Now I just watch him play. I do try to keep active, playing flag football with the boys, basketball still, teaching these young kids that a 51 year old man still has his game. But I do get tired really quick now. The mind says, "You can do it", but the body just don't move as quick as before. Well everyone, please keep in touch and it is great to see comments for many old friends. To all my fellow school mates, I have not forgotten any of you and I do miss the good ole' days at ROA.... |

| Comments: | Thanks to Glenn Scorsone I have been reading this ROA book and finding myself longing for the simple time in life. I guess that's what happens when you get long in the tooth. Still in the area working as a Federal Special Agent with ICE (Formerly U.S. Customs). Getting close to KMA time (Kiss My Ass) terminology in the Gov't. Been married for 25 years and have one daughter. Tried to leave the area many times for other posts of duty to get a feel for the world, but wifey shut that down. I do get out for temp duty assignments, so it's not so bad. Most of my family, that is still surviving, is still in the area. My brother Jody lives in Terrytown with his wife and stepchildren. I only really keep up with my long time best friend Teddy Mackenroth. I've spoken to Liz Coulon (My former High School Sweetheart) on rare occasions about reunions and such. We should all get together somewhere and have a three day blowout like an old Lion roaring. Just to let everyone know, she and Teddy are doing fine. I wish more of the '72-'73-'74 classes were on the site since I don't remember too many others (Old timer's syndrone). ROA was the good times, the simple times that I will always cherish. I lost all of my documents and yearbooks during Hurricane Katrina, but I still have the memories. I wish today's youth could have all the experiences we had without the baggage. Time seems to pass us by so fast. After graduating from River Oaks, I attended LSU Baton Rouge and University of New Orleans(Communications/Sociology major). I've been married to my husband, Bud for almost 29 years. We have 3 children who are very dear to me(2 sons and a daughter), Bill(27), Christopher(24) and Nicky(22). We live in jolly ole England which is very different from any place I've ever lived. We live in a neighborhood with a lot of history...a thousand year old castle and cathedral and Roman ruins. My husband, Bud is engineering manager working on a defense project for the Royal Air Force. And, he is also a representative for NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Organization. I was a social worker until we moved to England. Now, I spend most of my time trying to keep up with hubby...We do a lot of traveling to different countries. I love to travel...learn about different people and explore new places. I'm also a student of antique dealing...still an amateur, but learning. I do a lot of traveling back to the U.S. to spend time with family and friends. I'm very much looking forward to our next class reunion....I'll be there! Left Jesuit for Belle Chasse High School where I met my future, and now, wife, Denise Orgeron. Left BCHS in May 87 and went to Jefferson Parish. Taught at Gretna Jr Hi for 7 years. Went back to school, again, to get certification in administration. Also began learning about computers. Became an administrator in Aug 94. Seved as an Asst. Principal at Gretna for 1 year, at Ehret HS for 7 1/2 years (also technology coordinator), and then principal at Marrero Middle School and Westwego Elementary. Moved to Covington in June '05 and transferred to Harris Middle School, where I am now, as an AP again. Have been blessed with 3 boys, the older two graduating from the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts, and the youngest now attending Jesuit High School as a sophomore. He is also the only one of my boys involved in music performance.
I have "amassed" a collection of instruments -- 4 saxes (SATB), 3 clarinets, a bass clarinet, flute, piccolo, oboe, 2 trombones, a trumpet, and 2 keyboards. I also play professionally whenever possible. My performance credits include the Temptations, the old New Orleans Philharmonic, the New Orleans Summer Pops, Pete Fountain, Sergio Franci, Lou Rawls, Bob Hope, Kylie Smith, and Harry Connick Sr. I have also played with the Saenger Theater Orchestra, at the Rivertown Reperatory Theater, Jefferson Performing Arts Society, Le Petit Theater, Jazz Fest, and various carnival balls over the last 30+ years. Have also played with various big bands -- Jan Garber, Guy Lombardo, Nelson Riddle, and locally, Frankie Mann and Jimmy Maxwell. Paul, this website and guestbook are great! Its been a while since I log on to the dream book. Hope everyone is doing well. I see quite a few ROA friends in my Barber shop and at Skate Country were I been working for the pass 27 years part time. No, I do not own it! The Barber shop survived Katrina, but the Rink had to be totaly rebuilt. I stayed for katrina, what a ride. Never, Never ,Never want to do that again. I did say never right..... I saw stuff flying threw the air that should not have been. I want to start a ROA DREAM list..... I Dream that we all get together in LAS VEGAS for a Reunion. Any takers big enough group could save us $$$ on hotel airfire etc..... OH! I have one natural son, four step sons, and five grandkids Two boys. I've been sitting on my ass waiting for someone else to organize a class reunion. Guess that'll never happen. It's not like our Class President works for a major cable company or anything. I took a stab at coaching tee ball in 1998. Glad to see Chris Oddo's son hasn't been scarred for life. I graduated from UNO in 1992 with a finance degree and have been a Certified Real Estate Appraiser for 16 years. I will be opening a wine shop in Houma within the next few months. I have a wife(Mandy), daughter(Gabrielle) and two sons(Luke and Jake). We're looking into adopting a baby from China in the next two years. The only thing that could make life any better would be to have an alma matter to cheer for. |

| Comments: | Just stumbled across this site. It's great to be able to communicate with everyone, kind of like opening a door to the past. I am married for 20 years and I have two kids, an 11 year old girl and an 8 year old boy. I run the paint shop at California Customs in Harvey, Louisiana, fixing and painting cars as people wreck them. I pass the school every weekend when I go fishing in Venice and I can't believe that it is nothing but a cow pasture and run down buildings although the gym is still there. I remember how Coach Bob Becknel cared for that football field cutting the grass twice a week and it is sad to see it now. The devastation from Katrina was unbelievable south of Myrtle Grove, with only foundations of buildings still remaining and the river levee washed out south of Port Sulfur but it is comming back at an amazing pace. I see Bobby Warren all the time because he is a fishing guide in Venice. Good luck to all ROA alumni. |

Work as an RN CNOR manager in Surgery/PACU/Endoscopy in a small critical access hospital. Have 2 pups, 2 cats, 1 bird, 1 hamster, about 15 rabbits and roughly 60 chickens. District Management for a corporation. Did not get married until I turned 40 (guess I had a mid-life crisis of sorts!). It's been a real challenge after single life for so long-to say the least! I've been married for 25 years (going on 40 years) as my wife would say, who is Minette Arcemont. As a lot of fellow students know we hooked up in high school and have not been separated since. Here's the story on us: After ROA, majored in music ed / jazz studies at Loyola, then completed post-grad work at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. Married Annette in '84. We have 2 daughters - Jaimee, 18, is a freshman at University of Florida. Lindsey, 17, is a senior in high school. Career has been church music. After leaving New Orleans, spent time in Atlanta, East Tennessee, and West Monroe, LA before landing in Orlando in the spring of '06. In church management now at First Baptist Church in Orlando, providing leadership in the areas of worship/music, media/television, and communications. Memories of the ROA jazz band. . . Our pseudo-garage band playing Oh Happy Day and Piano Man with the world-famous John Griffith. . . So. . . is there any talk of a reunion that includes the classes of '77 and '78? | Comments: | Who has a Mr. (A.V.) Cousin story? Who knew his first name is Al? I ran into Mr. Cousin today at his house for some installation work that I do through Home Depot. He now lives in Youngsville, La, outside of Lafayette. He said his house in Belle Chasse was destroyed by a tree from Katrina. He lost all of his yearbooks and most of his ROA memorabilia to water damage. He's 78, been married to his wife for 54 years and has a daughter and grandchildren living in Lafayette. I think he also has other children and grandchildren. He was the first principal at ROA and retired in 1982. He then went to work at the state school in Belle Chasse.
Yes, I shook the hand that once slapped me hard in the back of the head when I got kicked out of Mrs. Falgout's 8th-grade class. He asked what was wrong with me, and promptly sent me back to class. That was the kind of displine Mr. Cousin handed out. On this day, he wasn't too nostalgic, but did talk proudly about some of his students - one who received the medal of honor, a few who are doctors and lawyers, and others who turned their high school education into successful careers. He didn't mention any names, but seemed to be proud of everyone who attended ROA. He mentioned several times how "that school had spirit." It's a small world. |

| Comments: | Wow ... I just stumbled across this tonight. It has been many years since I have been home. I left Louisiana and headed to Dallas two years before graduation. I have lived in Japan, Minneapolis MN, Eau Claire WI, and am currently now in Boston, MA. I have been married and divorced, have two beautiful daughters, and am now currently working in the medical field. I performed professionally as a musician for many years and retired from music about 3 years ago. Music was very good to me over the last few years. Now Im a bit more serious in health care and work in a major hospital here in Boston.
My memories in River Oaks are bittersweet. I think back to some of the antics I pulled trying to "fit in", always striving to be popular. LOL Isn't it funny how once you graduate from high school, it all just changes? None of that seems to matter anymore. One of my fondest memories is with Doug Hebert ... he and I painted the band room door together after school. I drove through the school about 5 years ago, through the cows. It was sad to see it no more than a run down pasture. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw that band hall door! LOL I actually considered stealing it righ from the hinges. Anywho ... good to see you all doing well. Many familiar names here. I hope to see more. Every now and again I think about events and friends from River Oaks. Well info on me. Let's see, after graduation, I went to Nicholls State for 4 years. left to play pro Basketball in Houston. Came back, finally graduated then taught at ROA for one year. Decided to go back to school SLU for a masters. Did that, then Met my husband of 25 years through "Horses", my second love. We married, moved to Madison Wisconsin. Had two kids, both in Universities now. Then 3 years ago we moved here to Canada, where my husband is from. All of my family still live in the New Orleans area, Gretna, Mandeville. | Comments: | It was so sad to read about how so many people are relocating due to the storm. Evacuating to Houston only made me want to come home and to be a part of rebuilding and making it better than it was before.
I'm still a teacher; I now teach at Christ the King in Terrytown. Kelly Glidewell, Tiger Daws, and Julie Hartman all have children attending CTK. We're losing some of staff due to relocations-anybody want to teach middle school students? If you're in town for Mardi Gras(07)- my husband Paul Leman is going to be the "king" of Alla-I'm married to a serious Mardi Gras enthusiast! Have a safe and happy summer. |

| Comments: | I have moved my family 2 hours north of new orleans. Our house was flooded durning Katrina and i don't want to see them go through that again. So I am now living in Magnolia ms with my family and horses. Have not had a chance to talk to to many people in new orleans. Been traveling with work since Katrina. Hope to hear from somebody soon. |
