Comments:I don't know if this site is still active, since an e-mail I just sent to you bounced back. But here is what I wrote: Dear webmaster for the "Homage to Pythagoras" site: At http://users.ucom.net/~vegan/ on your "Homage to Pythagoras" site, under "Pythagoreanism," you have: Excerpt from John Burnet's "Early Greek Philosophy" In that document you have the following subhead: 50. Incommensurability Under that, the fifth line down, you have the following text: "namely, that, iff they were commensurable," I think you'll want to correct "iff" to "if." But beyond that minor type-o that I spotted, I would ask: would it be possible to fill in the missing figures in items 47 and 48? One of them you already have elsewhere. The first [FIGURE] under 48 is the same thing that you have under "Pythagoreanism" as: Behold the Tetractys So it would be good if the figures could be provided. And they are actually available elsewhere online. Just go to the following: http://www.classicpersuasion.org/pw/burnet/egp.htm?pleaseget=47 and http://www.classicpersuasion.org/pw/burnet/egp.htm?pleaseget=48 Since I think your handling of the Burnet material is preferable, it would be most convenient if you could make it complete in this way. Thanks so much. -- Fred Fred Edwords National Director United Coalition of Reason www.unitedcor.org

Comments:Hello people, I really liked the Vegetarianism section. I had long wondered what our antecedents were in the ancient world and here you have found and published an important text. Thank you very much. I am a student of the ancient world and I find all of this to resonate with my thinking. I had often wondered where flesh eating started and the text makes the point that it started out of scarcity and neccesity, not out of any true need.

In the Center it's the Heart of the Plain of Truth in a inverted triangle on top there is a circle The creative Spirit and on both sides of the bottom there are two circles one reads Tatractic and the other Magic. These symbols are inside a circle that has a surrounding inner circle with a series of numbers.Anybody has a clue ?

Comments:I read through your web site and found it to be very good and obtained more information on some hard to find information. I am interested in and have some confirmation that in using Pythagoras methods future events can be predicted. If anyone has information on this subject of how Pythagoras used numerology please send me information. Thank you. Moreover, I have interest in numerology and in particular I am trying to reconstruct a numerology system that I believe Pythagoras created and used and I am deriving the modern equivalent to it. So in this endeavor of research, development and practice, I research and find new pieces of information that I then try to prove it out. If it proves out then I add it my method of confirming a universal approach of words, phrases, numbers and relationships. If it were true once, ancient Greek systems, then it is true 2500 years later. I have also found this (methods) to be true with some other ancient systems as well. In addition, I am thing of creating a web site where I can put my predications in hopes that people can read and take cautionary measures prior to the event. A lot of what I foresee through a Pythagoras type approach has to do with life and death such as in mankind created problems or natural disasters that harm or kill life. These can include terrorist attacks, Hurricanes (Typhoons) and earthquakes and this can include pandemic virus as well.

Comments:A nice site, but try adding some sources. For example, there is no surviving texts written by pythagorus himself. So where are you getting this information? from previous philosophers from his period of time? or some cheap book written by an unknown author at barns and noble? or some sort of Neo-pagan fluffiness. It would add alot more validity to the site
