 great idea for a website, but I have a few problems and suggestions.
but let's tell you how I found this site first. I was searching on google for sites with Harry Potter crossovers :) I love fanfiction, especially Harry Potter fanfiction, and crossovers with other series are fun too, sometimes even with series I haven't even watched or read. Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Most of what I know about the series I've learned reading crossover fanfiction :)


graphics is not everything. and remember, some html things are BROWSER SPECIFIC! I'm using Netscape for this, as I'm having trouble getting the links to work in Opera. (using IE as little as possible, it is a product of evil M$) Also got irritated as the links dissapeared and appeared seconds later (flashing links, a negative on the readability side)

to sum it up, graphics and special effects can exist on a website, but it is important that they never disrupt the readability of the site's text content.

i think the web standards (that some web browsers tend to change a few times) are available on http://www.w3.org/ that's the homepage for the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
