We just returned from spending two wonderful nights in the Rabbit Lake B and B. The accomodation was luxurious with all of the required amenities, the breakfasts were spectacular, and our hosts were warm and accomodating. We will return, there is no doubt !! The suite was private and accomodating as everything was right in our room! The food was wonderful, the view awesome-even thought it was quite chilly- the Rabbit Lake B&B experience was one we would like to repeat! You are both fabulous hosts, who make your guests feel like they are truly part of your family. Your kindness, generosity and warmth made our stay worth while and then some. Every detail you have paid attention to, does not go unoticed. I can say that your home is one of the nicest I have ever been in.

Chamber of Commerce Kenora, Ontario Dear Chamber Members, Kenora has been a holiday destination for us for the past 10 years or so. We love everything about your city and will probably continue to visit for years to come. On the recommendation of a friend, another friend and I stayed at the Rabbit Lake Bed & Breakfast two years ago. The experience was beyond excellent. In my opinion, the facilities were 'world class', the scenery was too beautiful to describe, and the surroundings were so very peaceful and relaxing. The ambiance created by the hosts, Gwen and John Ruby, was unlike anything else I had ever experienced. Gwen and John were absolutely wonderful people; the quintessential hosts who've mastered the art of making their guests feel welcome, pampered and relaxed. In September of 2001, I returned to Rabbit Lake Bed & Breakfast, this time with my husband. Of course I had told him how great my first visit was, but he was totally unprepared for the solemn beauty, the incredible surroundings, the gourmet meals, and the warmth and hospitality of the hosts. My husband is not easily impressed, but I can tell you that he was incredibly impressed with the Rabbit Lake Bed & Breakfast. Without a doubt, he will return with me in the future. I will continue to introduce other friends and relatives to this superb and delightful experience as well. The Rubys are extraordinary people. They took an 'idea' and turned it into a successful business venture. They host visitors from all over the world, and many, like my husband and I will return because of their hospitality. They promote the services of Kenora and District to their guests, which no doubt generates income for other area businesses. If the Kenora Chamber of Commerce has awards for entrepreneurs, I would like to nominate the Rubys and their Rabbit Lake Bed & Breakfast for one as I believe they operate the most outstanding home-based business I've ever seen.
