I have gained a lot from you all.I had a fair bit to do with our Supersport Regulations in Aus not knowing at the time about DSR in the US, our choice to include 1100cc mc engines is and has proved to be a great way to help sportsracing in this country, and so your Sports. Racer. Network is particularly valuable as regards the mc engines, not to mention all the other wonderfull stuff.

In 1975 I started Showroom Stock in a VW Scirocco. in the past 30+ years I have been lucky to win many champonships, set many track race and qualifying records. I finally found a XSR that I fit into. Although almost a vintage car (with an almost vintage driver) I look forward to a steep learning curve with a whole lot of fun packed in.

Looking to restore the Z-14, need Revolution wheels, esp a front- 6x13, 4 bolt/VW hub. What do you have? Raced an Anson SA-4 Super Vee in the pro series,,and in regional/national races as a FC, FA, CSR (I think I was the first to incorporate the ground effect tunnels into the bodywork-protested at Atlanta, but was found legal, 1987), ASR. Bought the Anson Race Car Company (started by Gary Anderson, designer of the Jordans (Schumacher's first F1), Stewart, and Jaguar F1's), 1988. Still have an SA-4 that was on the pole at LOng Beach, and a Formula Ford SA-7. (650)594-1309, (650)593-5040

Both cars were owned, prep'd and sponsored by Bob Speed's Fiat Specialties, Hayward, CA where I worked as a mechanic. At the time the DSR livery was black, white, green, red with a large scorpion on the front deck. Ex destroyed all my racing photos. Comments: Neat Site! I saw lots of the cars in Michigan, Florida and California before Vintage Racing! In the old days the track parking lots were real interesting, too. The first time I was at one of Martin Tanner's events, some-one had a fenderless 1932 Auburn Speedster mounted on a 1934 chassis near the pits. Does any one have any pics of the COE car hauler built with a 1959 ElCammeno cab that sometimes hauled the Porter MB/Corvette special in the early 1960's

I am sending you a photo of my old car (top of Graham hill at Watkins Glen). Please place it in the Gallery if and where you think appropriate. It is a converted 1983 Van Dieman FF, powered by a Datsun A12 with a McCann body. It was raced (regionals mostly)in the NE primarily at Watkins Glen 1986-1991. I took a year off to get married, a 2nd year to build a house and a scant 13 years later I am back to racing. Jim Esgrow

Comments: I autox my street car, which is a modded 93 MR2. A lot of guys dream of owning a Ferrari Enzo or a McLaren F1, but I would really love to have a CSR or DSR if I had the money. I probably wouldn't do any serious racing, but I've done time trials with my MR2 and I'd much rather do it with a real racecar. I love this site. It has taught me a lot. I'd love to pick the brains of some of you guys, but I don't think that any of you have time for someone who is merely fantasizing about owning one of these cars.

Comments: Today, this Guestbook has been improved with a better format, no popup junk, only one simple banner ad, and an input form. I think this will work out much better. I will also be using this format to gather input on vendors, web links, recommended books, etc. -- Your website producer

Comments: I have just come across your site by accident - what a fabulous surprise! I am a Brit living in France, near to Le Mans, and fanatical about sports racing cars. I am trying to compile, for my own personal interest, records of all sports racing cars that have raced since (initially) 1960. I have very little information about regional/national American racing, so I find your site extremely interesting.

Races car(s) owned: looking for a F500 chassis for a track car project
Comments: Tom, excellent site and very informative!!! I race Superkarts here in the states and I wish we had a more mature bunch that could gather information this way rather than take stabs at each other.. Anyway, I'm looking for a F500 chassis for a track car project. The plan is to drop a 600cc bike motor in and leave well enough alone. A big old Superkart, with a roll bar and fire system. The F500.com site has been my only source for used cars, and the turn over is pretty slow. I was wondering if you knew of any other sources for used F500 chassis? Comments: Enjoying your website. I was wondering if there are more pictures of the cars in the foreground of the main picture at the top of the home page, ie the blue #76, the yellow car behind that with the air scoop, the white #52? enclosed "open wheel" type, and the two in front and to the right of him. I looked at nearly every body on the "bodies" list and I don't think I saw those particular cars with their great lines and paint jobs... Who do you think makes the best and most sophisticated bodies in this class? Thanks.

Comments: Hello visitors, This guest book is one that I just stumbled across today (8/27/2004). We'll see how well it works. I'm curious as to how many people will use it. I certainly have gotten a lot of emails that might have been submitted to a guestbook if one had existed.
