| Comments: | I have been looking for copies of Coccobill (Tøffe Tom in norwegian) since the 80-s. In Norway, it came out 7 or 8 issues of Coccobill albums in norwegian. They have been extremely hard to find. I have one that i got when i was a kid. (I'm 43) It also, in 1980 came one single new album, now called Coccobill. It probably did'nt sell much, because it was just that one. And i,ve lost it. So, i have searched since. Haven't found them in english either. I must learn italian i suppose.... |

| Comments: | Dear Peter, nice to hear from you! Oh yeah, I do recognize the character with that specific coat he has: Svapp Kapsalonza is after the Finnisizers known as Svabb Kapalo. Kapalo is virtually a piece of cloth. Svabb Kapalo has "Words of Wisdom" in his coat as well. I've collected most of them on to my Cocco Bill Site, but they're in Finnish. I don't know if they're actually so wise words... They are like funny and crooked versions of some Finnish idioms. Like it should be "An eye for an eye", but instead it says on the coat "An eye for a finger". That's not the best one but they don't translate well. Some words are like "Buy Ratto Magazine", Ratto being a bit dirty mag from the same publisher. Or "Don't blow your nose here!" - Okay Peter, keep it cool in Netherlands! |

| Comments: | Hi, I was born in Peru in 1975. I grew up reading Asterix and Mafalda comics, but suddenly I found a rare, different comic book. It was about a cowboy. He looked quite extrange for me, because he was very different from Asterix, he liked smacking other guyes just because they didn't agree drinking camomile tea in a bar. His horse was quite cool also. He was also able to beat people when his owner was in trouble; and sometimes his owner smacked him! Awesom!! Fortunatelly I found three more comic books of that. As the asterix and amfalda ones, all of them were old, because they were from my father's childhood. If there is any way to keep buying more Cocobill comics please let mi know. PD: The ones I have at home are in spanish. |

Kolme albumia on kuin suoraan painosta, aivan tajuttoman hyvässä kunnossa.. ensimmäistä ja toista numeroa ei ole edes varmaan ikinä avattu kun taitoksia ei ole.. täysin neitseellisiä helmiä. Jes. Kokoelma käsittää tällä hetkellä puolet, eli 5 albumia ja toivottavasti loputkin löytyy yhtä vaivattomasti. |

| Comments: | Today, july 22 1998, I bought my FIRST CoccoBill album in a second hand shop. It was many years ago that I layed eyes on a comic of this character, it must be more than 20 years ago !! At my parents home we used to have a Dutch comic magazine called; "Pep" (later: "Eppo"). Every CoccoBill comic in it was a celebration. It never occured to me that I could buy an album untill I saw it today, it is the second number in Dutch and I bought it for only one guilder, it came from a library wich disposed of it because it was worn out. I will send you the scan I made from the picture on first page. Compliments on your page, it was a nice surprise. |
