| Squeak!: | What a wonderful job you have done! About 4 days ago I finally bought a black male rat. His name is Nosfuratu. I had been considering this purchase for some time now. I did not know much about the care of rats or rats in general for that fact. I came on line because I was bothered by his sneezing and I was searching for answers. Well thanks to you I now have better idea. He was sneezing a bit when I first got him home but it always seemed to worsen when I put him in his cage for the night. I'm going to get rid of his cedar shavings right now and get him something new to nest in. If he doesn't seem better by the start of the week I will take him to a vet. Altough I haven't found anyone that seems to really like rats or know much about them. Thanks again. From the USA. |

有希の様子を見て来ました。 普通のケージに入っていると思いきや、 酸素室なるものに入っていました。＾＾； 有希の呼吸はかなり荒くなっていました。 胃腸が弱っているらしく、食べた物が胃の中にたまってしまって 腹痛を伴っているそうです。 胃の中の物を排出させる薬だか食べ物だかを与えているので かなり良くはなっているようです。 なので有希の調子しだいで早ければ明日にでも退院できます。 できたらいいな〜＾＾； (^-^)/ |

Tripod. He lost his (front left) leg shortly after birth, but now he is 1 1/2 years old and to watch him, you'd never know he's missing a leg. He lives is a three-level ferret cage and runs up and down the ramps like he has 6 legs!! Tri is quite the character too. and he loves going for walks on his leash. He bounces along, down the sidewalk and people just can't seem to get enough of him! I also have a Coon Cat, Jadzia, but she knows Tri isn't a menu item. Thank you for this site....in Brunswick, Maine, there isn't a whole lot out there for rats. |

Looove it!!! I especially love the pictures and the care info is very handy and informative. In August last year my baby Soxy, died. She was four and a half years old and she had two tumours on her belly and towards the end she could not walk properly anymore, and she was very weak and did not move around much anymore, so it was a bit of a relief when she finaly died because she was not in very good condition and she was getting very thin. If she had not died when she did I would have taken her to the vet to have her put down so she would not suffer. |

albino rat named Robbert! he is my baby and i play with him everyday! when he was about a week old my sister bought him home as snake food but i felt so sorry for him that i rescued him and bottle fed him with kitten milk. it was worth the very late night feedings to have him surrive. i was so excited to come across your site because i was always wondering if i was doing things right. after reading all your information i think i am but he is a little on the chubby side. thanks for suppling me with great information!!!!! ps: your rats are |
