I'm not really good at introductions but I'll give it a shot
I'm Max and I'm from the United States. I just "officially" began Wicca/Pagan about 2 years ago and I'm the only living relative in my family to believe in it. I am also the only one out of my friends and as far as I'm aware there are no other witches in my community. I love to read, mostly fantasy novels and young adult. I'm also an attempting writing and am doing classes at my highschool to become either a Vet or a Zookeeper. I have many animals, mostly cats and (obviously) am a huge animal lover. I'm recently married. I'm owned by one cat and she is my baby! I've been studying wicca for about 7 years but I'm always trying to learn more. I'm often called Wednesday or Morticia by my brother-in-law due to the fact that I prefer to wear black. *sighs* I really, reeeeaally hate about-me pages. 1) I never know quite how to describe myself in a way that is interesting & meaningful. I am just... well... me. I contain quirks just like the next person. When you stop to think about it, the very act of trying to be an individual ironically enough sticks you into a group of other non-conformists. So can you really escape being part of the herd, any herd? Nonetheless, I've always valued my creativity & pride myself on my desire to think for myself.
I guess the best way to get to know me... & thus get a description of me... is simply to talk to me. I may be grumpy, I may be weird... but I am honest (perhaps to a fault- I tell it like it is more often than not). So if genuine friendship is your thing, feel free to wander by for a chat. I have decided to cast "christianity" out of my life. After many, many years of being an atheist, I have a calling to practice and believe in Witchcraft and it's many ways. As far as I know, there are no Wiccans here in my community. If there are, I can't find you! I am a beginner and in bad need of a mentor. My former mentor is is bad health and not able to help me like he used to. I am looking for people around my age who have been Wiccan for at least the past ten years.
