| Comments: | hi i'm paul from nottingham england, fantastic website, the only thing its short of is breeding information for the novice ( me ). for around 5 hours every night for 2 weeks solid i've been searching the internet looking for information on the breeding side of indian fantails. i.e. nest box size, is there a limit to how high to build the nest boxes off the floor,amount of room needed for each pair ( i've just got 6 pairs ) if anyone could help me out i would be grateful.

I'm one of the moderators on the 911 Pigeon Alert list at Yahoogroups.com and am trying to locate the owner of an Indian Fantail wearing the following band: 11/03 SCIF 695 I am having no luck in reaching anyone that belongs to the Southern California Indian Fantail Club .. the e-mails on the website are not correct and the phone #'s I'm finding are also no good. I did finally reach Stan Luden's wife, but he is not available for the next week or so. If anyone knows who to contact and how to contact them, please let me know. My main reason for posting is this: There is a thief selling CDs of pigeon images he does not own, has no authorization or permission to use...he just rips them off and says to heck with you. Do not send money to this guy, more than likely you will not get product and even if you do, it was put together illegally. He is really asking for trouble and is ticking off a lot of people. He is rude and brazen and you won't find him offering his disks at shows...where he is likely to meet some of his rip-off victims. So beware...we are on to him. Don't be victimized. |

| Comments: | I am from the USA and I own 4 Indian Fantails. I have a male Spread Ash Sooty (also known as Strawberry), a Spread Indigo male, a tailmark male, and a white female. I bought them at an auction, and unluckily they weren't banded so I can't show them. I spoke with a pigeon gentics guy to find out what my (I now know what they are, the Indigo male and the Strawberry male) birds were and he told me that the Strawberry could be a winner, but he isn't banded. If anyone has any information about Indian fantails that they could share with me I would really like it (or if anyone has any kinds of birds that I have)! |
