We have pygmy goats and are the Superintendents over the Pygmy Goats in Vanderburgh County. We live in Posey County and are interested in finding a couple of llamas to put with our goats and for a girl in 4-H to be able to help raise them and show them at the fair. My neighbor and friend already has 2, and is also bringing 2 more home for herself. I just totaly fell in love with the llama's that she has now and just had to have some for myself. Our plans are to start a Llama 4-H Club in our area of Mifflin County, PA and also to start breeding as we have all females. My 4 children and husband are also excited about my new additions. All of our friends think that we are a little crazy because there are only 2 other farms in the county that have llama's and so they are still new to the area. Occassionally I have had people ask me about visiting the llama farms in the area, so I thought I'd find out about yours. Groups come from around central Indiana to visit the museum and want to see other nearby "attractions". Do you allow drop-in visitors or appointments for people who just want to see the farm?

I'll keep my eyes on your site. Mostly my "kids" are used for 4H and petting zoos. We did do a Holiday parade and a living nativity at the church with their friend Milton (a spotted donkey). Just throw a rug over a llamas back and walla...camels. We had tons of fun. Even got their picture on the front page of the Lansing State Journal. Do you know...after the parade and the performance at church...someone asked me, "What do you do with your llamas?" Duh! Parades and nativities and other fun things.
