| entry: | I know all too well how bad thing can be and can get. My Father also developed bladder cancer and he too had the cancer removed. But, to much to our surprise it re-surfaced and more operations. My Dad died Dec 13th the night before his birthday in a bed in the back end of a nursing home the money, stocks everything he worked for gone. I’m sorry, I have no financial relief for you. I suffer from many anxiety problems and don't work. And just a few years ago I lost my older and only sister Eileen and have yet to get over it. So, I can only wish you well and I hope things work out for you. I don't know what or who your belief is in, or to who ever you speak too in prayer but may they look over you and bless you.

You do not know me, but that makes no difference. I lost both my parents to cancer. I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in April of 2006. I’m luckier than most, for despite being in stage 3 the cancer has not spread, and has in fact, become almost dormant via my last PET scan. Sooner or later I will need treatment. In my humble opinion, you are a very brave man, an extraordinary man in fact. I admire your courage and determination. I have come to understand that we make a choice when we hear those words, you have cancer. I believe we are either dying from it or living with it. I made the latter choice and clearly so have you, and others. I wish you the very best of luck, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Mel |
