He recently passed away and I was looking for a New Waterford newspaper to place an obituary notice. Is the old Miner's Memorial Hospital/School still standing? I was best friends with Emily Yip from the corner store on 8th Street and Plummer Avenue. I hung around at McDonald's garage quite a bit too. I lived at 63 8th Street, which was the first house behind McDonald's garage. They had a fire there when I was a kid, I remember. It scorched the front of our house. I went to Mount Carmel school up to grade 3. Then we moved to Vancouver, BC. Quite a culture shock from New Waterford to Vancouver. Do you still live in New Waterford? All the best.
