I cannot tell you how much your website has helped me in understanding the 'constant mental tingling" known as transgenderism and how to learn to live with our dilemma. Your honesty, humor, and intelligence clearly jump out on every page and I enjoy reading your updates. I am going through a particularly challenging time in my life. My marriage of 12 years has dissolved and I am slowly trying to rebuild my life. I am trying my best to find balance in my journey as I feel as you do that transgenderism is about finding peace and acceptance with all parts of who we are. My biggest challenge has been building friendships as Edy and not feeling so lonely. I have been to Atlanta on several occasions to visit with Phoebe Cross. Her makeover services are exceptional but there are limitations to what she offers. Any advice you could give me on how you intentionally built friendships would be helpful. Time for me to check in again. Once again, you have set up a fabulous website. Sorry to hear of your misfortune in the relationship department. Right before I met my wife I was at a point where I had dated what seemed like hundreds of girls. Some relationships were good, some bad, some ugly (haha). I did some reflecting and realized that I had been looking too hard for "Miss Right". I didn't stop looking of course. I did however ask myself the question: Would you be OK if you never got married or found the right one? My answer was surprisingly: Yeah , that wouldn't be the end of the world. It was actually freeing and liberating. In other words if it happened great but if not ......OK. It really relaxed my whole being. The next year or so was really the most fun I had had in a long while. I was a lot happier with myself. Then I met my wife and the rest is history. We've been married going on 7 years now. Challenges have popped up along the way of course. We just overcame a brain tumor this winter. She's doing great now. At any rate you seem to be in that place now where if it happens great but if not.....OK. I love your approach of filling your life with activities that you love. This will be extremely fulfilling and enriching. I think your ad was classy and did a nice job of identifying yourself and the person you're looking for. I wish you the best of luck. From what I can tell you certainly deserve it. I had an appointment scheduled with Phoebe Cross for late April but had to postpone. It was obvious to me about 3 weeks ago that I couldn't leave my wife even for a couple of days. We've since found out that caffeine was causing all kinds of problems. Since ditching the caffeine life has been wonderful at our house! Hallelujah! I went ahead and paid Phoebe for the "lost weekend". I own my own business and understand the value of someone's time. I also felt awful about "jacking up" her schedule. So I've got an appointment reserved for an as yet to be determined date. After this winter it will be very, very nice to have some "me time'. It's been awhile since I've been to the site. Glad to hear that your product was getting lined up for Walmart some months back--hope that's still happening. I'm still a "gal" guitarist with the novelty band, but I've got my CD out now, and have a new band where I have to be the frontman--and I do mean "man." I've forgotten how to perform as a guy, and am not sure how I'm supposed to act. The girlself is easy to do; I know what I like about girls, and I just duplicate that. I must thank you again as my transition continues. This weekend I took out a TG friend who drove 5 hours to go out in public en femme for the first time. She was nervous as a cat, but came out with shining colors....literally. I took her to have our nails done at a great salon, a makeover at Ulta, shopping at the fashion mall, (she passed on lunch OUT as she felt she "ate like a man") Goodness, thanks to you, I've come round about to being a student to a teacher.
